The effects of the movies now are good. But the stories and plotlines of the older stuff is way better.

Old... new... doesn't matter. It's all about plot, writing, direction & acting talent. A well-written movie with a good plot, directed by someone competent with great acting is gonna be a good movie. Special effects are icing on the cake. As a matter of fact, it can be argued that older movies are actually better, because they don't have the whizz-bang effects to rely on to carry it.

I like all type of movies. But I love some old comedy. They're great and simple.

I prefer new movies. I don't like the grainy texture of old films. that disturbs me. lol

i enjoy almost any kind of movie, so long as it's not stupid or boring...as in it has a good plot

I like watchin all the new stuff with a lot of cg. which makes transformers at the top of my list

The Matrix is not an old movie. Hell, Shane isn't even an old movie. "Movies" have been around since the eighteen hundreds. And being old or new doesn't make a movie good or bad. It's not that simple.

I Love Comedy one and action movie too

I like new movies best, but some old movies are really good too, it just depends (I sometimes get bored with the ones that take forever to acutally get to an actual plot or event).
