Anime rocks my socks. It's just so good to see your favourite manga characters brought to life.
I don't mean it in any offensive way but if it isn't official release DVDs it isn't a collection, but more of a private ripped anime collection.
I don't like anime a bit. I love it. I love it because it numbs my senses on reality and life, for a moment in time, I can become oblivious of my conflicts and struggles, I become myself.
I like anime as well as manga because of the detail of the artwork and (most of) the characters' lives, and the fact that it can be as surreal or realistic as the creator wishes it.
to be honest i'm open to any genre.... however some genres pull me in easier than others... while others... if its a genre i'm not a big fan of.... the graphics and storyline have to be extremely compelling to make me wanna watch it =3

I like anime because mostly of the way the characters and backgrounds are drawn. The attention given to detail is just awesome. The stories are vary as much as real movies do. It's just great.

Cuz' it's soo magical! Everything can happen! and they are good drawn and all! love it!
They're like a large, cool unconventional story which involves more than just mere violent or fancy situations. Characters have those features which make them seem more "human" than the occidental cartoons, as well as one can feel really involved with the story and one can actually believe he's one more character, or think the story suits to one's life.
And the special effects are also great!
