Do you think they should because i went on the net and some poeple say "Yes" and "No" and i just wanna no if they really should.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, NO. I subscribe to the Expanded Universe, and the only thing GL is gonna do if he moves into that realm is ruin it.
heck no, the prequels were so god damn boring the 7th one would be even more boring lol.
there are books that go beyond episode 6 that are really good though
Star Wars started getting far too stretched out from the time they made Episode 1. Im sure there would be some people who would enjoy it, but I think the majority of people would find it to be a disappointment.
i agree with joycev
Technically, according to rumors, the next big Star Wars thing is going to be a TV series. It'll be set between episodes 3 and 4.
...but even as a fan of Star Wars, I am against the making of another movie. The original trilogy was good enough before the prequels came along (which I think aren't that bad).
...If done a few years back, Shadows of the Empire would have made an interesting addition. (story set in between eps. 5 and 6) ...but now it's too late, and I really can't see anybody else playing Luke, Vader, and the rest.
in my opinion no...they should have stopped that think on the last/first three episodes with Harrison Ford...these first/last three should have never been created...it's like it doesn't give those first/last three with Ford the justice that they deserved
All the actors have gotten too old. I can't see Harrison Ford doing anything after Indy 4, and if he did we would see him with a cane or walker- maybe even a wheelchair.
If they were to do another movie, I would hope they do it either a millenium before Episode 1 or after Episode 6. Something based of the KOTOR or JKJA games
I think they will need do do more movies if they want to keep the franchisealive and well in the fan's eyes. Animated series' just don't cut it after awhile. Even if they don't follow the same storyline, I still think they will need to make more movies if they want them to remain popular.
There's just way too much in the expanded universe to cover satisfactorily.
why not a starwars 7? i believe ppl will be eager to watch it!
You do realise that it was originally planned to be a 9 part series :/
I'm quite relieved tha Lucas wont be making the final 3 parts, considering how the first (chronological) 3 parts turned out.
if the last 3 parts would come out like episodes 1,2 and 3 ... I'd rather not see them...I was fairly dissapointed in the first episodes...I still remain a huge fan of episodes 4-6...
That is, for me, the real Star Wars. I did not like the young (teenage) Anakin...what was that...a soap performance?!? (no offence to any that liked him, or like soap-operas)..it's just that that kind of acting is not suited for Star Wars...don't know why Lucas chose him...anyway...I am content with S.W. the way is now...:)...
Star Wars dropped extremely fast with episodes 1-3. A decade and a half of waiting and I ended with that garbage. Working in the theaters, I know just how low things went. Episode 3 had THREE separate promotions running at different times (the Darth Vader "Who's your daddy?" Father's Day poster, the "May the Fourth be With you" for the 4th of July, and one other I forgot). This kind of stuff is usually reserved for kids films . . .
Star Wars has long ago expanded beyond anything Lucas could hope to match. I knew this was happening once I read the Dark Force Trilogy. And eps 1-3 showed that he's lost that touch that made the original trilogy so fun. Frankly, I think it should be left to the imaginations of those who are already continuing the story, and sadly, more faithfully than the original creator.
George would make more Star Wars films if he become very poor~~
I dont think it would be a bad idea personally. As a whole the 1-6 saga averaged out to be very watchable, and as much as i Hated some of the ideas, characters, and or acting, I think that 7 would probably make sense assuming it was episode 7 only. any more then that and the series will swan-dive into a deeper pit then it already has.
I hope so cause I dont' want to read very long books of it(it's tiring).Anyway there are a lot more episode of starwars but they are only available in books(check some bookstores near you) but it's a bit difficult to find one at my country.
no. let the classics be classics
I have to say no to ep 7 as well. They made 4-6 first so 1-3 had to be done. Any more than that would feel like they were trying to milk the franchise.
I have to say that I would not mind a new movie, but base it twenty to thirty years after Return of the Jedi. If they did that, then they could bring in Han and Leia's kids, as well as Luke's young son Ben (all of which have been written about in the books), to become the new heroes. If they wanted to, they could also throw in some new characters as well.
There is already one!
Yep. The clone wars is kinda a number 7.
Look, George Lucas has created a franchise that used to be significant
until he killed its voice with sequels. In truth, more would result to the death of
the Star Wars franchise. (Assuming it still lives.)
ammmm... no?
cause.... it'll be all black cause the universe is nomore?
