Gundam00 is the latest television anime of Sunrise's long-running Gundam

I liked the first episode. I like it alot better than GS/GSD, but it's still too
early to judge fully. So I'll wait for at least 10 episodes before saying if
it's crap or not (GSD started out good, but quickly got crappy).

pointed out that Mobile Suit looks pretty weak...oh well, I don't notice it!

The Mobile Suits aren't weak. They're just not as overpowered as everything in
Seed. Tell your friend to watch older Gundam series.
And cygnostratus, seeing only one episode aired so far, it's kinda normal that
it's the only one that got subbed
i saw the first episode some days ago, and unlike that bastard child, SEED....it
looks to be quite good actually, but i'll hold out until i've seen a bit more
until i judge it

that I don't understand much of the stuff. I laughed at that one dude's
announcement that

idealistic and unrealistic and aloof and self-righteous. And very hypocritical
because they're using weapons themselves. And the way he said it sounded really
funny. It reminds me of GSD Dullindal's little plan to "eliminate
warfare", or Kira and Lacus' ideal of fighting to stop the fighting. It's
gonna be hard for me to watch this without comparing to
GSD
I liked SEED, but GSD messed it up DX
The art is very nice though, so shiny and high-def and new. The character
designs... errrr I'd say even more feminine than GS/D and reminds me of Code
Geass...
Arrrggh I can't believe that one person Tieria is a guy >___< He looks
like a girl!
And that one other guy talks to himself in 3rd person (I believe his name is
Allelujah or something)... I thought he was praying or something DX
The main character looks like a Shinn clone though, with spikier hair.
Whaddya mean the meccha isn't over-powerful/over-powered? Didn't you see all
that light and the humongous cannons they used? O__o
I guess I need more eps to judge the story... I shouldn't say too much about it.
Did you see how long it took to charge the cannon? Unlike GS/D where the
stronger beam cannons were fired almost instantly. And the light means nothing,
it's just how their engines work.
Loveless art was a good choice, though the Gundams designs :/ was not!
I can't really say it's good or bad just yet, so far I only get to see the 2

I still can't judge the story line of this anime since we only have 3 episodes.
But on the character, i don't think i'm happy with what the story writer did
since there was only four characters and the other one looks like a girl. It
made me felt like i was watching Gundam Wing and made me think that this anime
was ripped from that. But i hope the storyline of this Gundam series doesn't
follow Gundam Wing's foot steps.
I really can't judge it yet. I'm not too into it at the moment, but in my
history of Gundam series, it's taken around 15 episodes for me to really get
into the series--then I get obsessed with it. So I'm hoping Gundam 00 will do
the same.
This is starting off pretty good, but most gundam series are made or broken in
the latter stages, where all the twists, revelations, and uber-machines come
into play.
I do like the setting and tech thus far, even if the mecha designs aren't the
most spectacular. On the other hand, many of the plot points and characters seem
a bit too familiar . . .
Too bad that I have not been able to watch it. I'm alittle bit worried since I
lost my trust in Gundam Series ever since they messed up DESTINY. I really don't
want to lose my nerves over an anime! (I'm addicted to anime ya know! And a bad
drug makes me feel really BAD! )

Faner of The Azure was Shinn Asuka's clone! Wow! Hehehe...Gotta see this new
protagonist. And yes, comparing Gundam 00 to Gundam SEED/DESTINY is inevitable.

And I don't like the character......... and isn't Setsuna a girl's name?
And the gundams are too round........ and too fat......
The pilot suits are old fashion and I don't like the weaponry
To be accurate if you all noticed from the 1st episode and onward, it is like
Gundam Wing, but with better art and such. Think of it like a modernized Gundam
Wing. Setsuna acts cold just like Heero from Wing.
At least Haro returned into Gundam. I find the mobile suits really excel in
their specific area. Exias for close-combat; Dynames for long-range; Kyrios (my
all time favorite) air support; and the big Virtue for back-up and cleaner.

i cant fully understand the storyline but its still too early to tell but im hoping that it will be better than GS/GSD

I like it. It's less... errr.. emo-soap opera ish than GS. (I like GS btw) It reminds me more of gundam wing.
i havent watch this anime yet,but still i'm looking forward on it!^^
