I have a terrible confession to make. I haven't actually watched any anime series other than Elfen Lied, though I do love it dearly. I'd like to watch more I just haven't been able to find any. So if anyone could possibly PM me with a good place and some recommendations to get some more anime, that'd be nice..

Elfen Lied is fairly gory though, I can't imagine there would be much to out-gore it.

For the bloodiest anime i've ever watched it'd have to be a tie between Elfen Lied and the Hellsing OVA series. They're both bloody,though the Hellsing OVA is slightly more detailed since i've actually seen they guys eye pop/hang out with blood dripping everywhere too^^ Ah,you've got to love gore sometimes.

both of those are pretty bloody
hellsing is more straightforward bloody, but higurashi was disturbingly bloody
(ie. girl with knife, stabbing herself while other girl laughs o_O)

aww i thought this said the best anime, i was gonna say Death Note, but bloodiest...yea defnetly Elfen Lied haha, taht had some crazy stuff in it

The Rurouni Kenshin OVA is rather bloody.

I've read some very bloody manga, most notably Blade of the Immortal.

I think the bloodiest I've ever seen is Elfen Lied and the ending episode of School Days too .

Higurashi and Elfen Lied is for me the most bloodies and i love this

Along with Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

The end of Evangelion especially when they kill of the NERV personel. Gives me the creeps. Oh, and Elfen Lied, Berserk and Hellsing.
