che, who am i kidding everyone has been disappointed at one anime or another,
whether english dubbing to unfulfilling endings.
i'm always disappointed when they dub to english especially when they change the
openings, but some do come out good, that and when they mess with the opening
and ending themes.
The Sonic movie (it's just called 'Sonic the Hedgehog' on the case) SUCKED. But,
I expected it to. Seriously. Don't even rent it. Hell, don't even borrow it. If
someone puts it on, RUN!
Real Bout High School should have been good... it didn't make sense, had lame
fight scenes, stupid dialog. BORING.
On the plus side, Gatekeepers (which I put off watching forever) is turning out
to be really good.
English dub animes don't disappoint me. They freak me out. Well, same
thing I guess, in a way. ;;
I'm a bit disappointed with Naruto Shippuuden, due to the very slow moving story
and needlessly extending scenes. I was expecting some cool animation, with very
fast moving battles. Yet, the battles seem rather boring, too slow (for the most
part), and repetitive. Naruto gets pissed off at Deidara for about 2~3 episodes
doing nothing, witch nearly drove me nuts. I still
watch it though. Dunno why. xD;;
gantz, air gear and claymore for killing
good potential in the last few eps.
Also several 'formula' based anime with typical eyecandy and stereotypes never
give a lasting impression.
Most things just fail to impress but there are ways out of the depression. Find
a good anime for yourself that isn't heavily recommended and commericalised. Die
Shounen Jump
Yeah, Bleach. Everybody went on and on about it (and still do as a matter of
fact). It provided some very mild entertainment but in the end was simply bad
quality. Same with Naruto, which has far too many silimarities to Dragonball Z
for my tastes anyway.

I know exactly how you feel about Naruto Shippuden. I reminds me of DBZ in
someways how it does that. Bleach has also been very slow as of late too...
I'm currently watching 12 Kokuki (12 Kingdoms). It's okay, but I found out that
they never finished it, and some of the story arcs aren't even complete. A bit
disappointing... not sure if I should continue to watch it (on ep 27 out of a
total 45 right now).
It promised a lot, but ultimately delivered nothing. The author
croaked before he could finish; that's partially the reason...just when it was
getting good too
yep, the final of fate stay night is the worst I have ever seen, and the anime
was reeally good! the ending was like... ehh... that`s all?
I am also dissapointed when they dub anime in spanish... in a lot of parts the
characters are moving the mouth and I cant hear a sound... or when the voices
dont match the moment...
I was very disappointed in the anime ending to Fruits Basket. I can only hope that they do a sequel which brings
closure to the Sohma Family curse instead of just a story about Kyo's secret and
why he needs to wear his bracelet.
I also agree that Gantz had an awful ending, it made no sense at all. I was also
incredibly dissapointed with Venus Versus Virus. I saw the promo and then waited
till it came out, got a fansub and was like 'What the hell this sucks...' to
this day I've only been able to watch 6 episodes, it's too boring to watch.
mu...at least at 1 point in this life have i been disappointed in a certain
anime series; the most recent being claymore, it was just really screwed with it
at the end, butchered it to hell
Saiunkoku Monogatari
Though the characters are really pretty, the ending wasn't as sweet as I had
hoped, I really wanted Shuurei to be with Ryuuki as a couple officially..
Naturally, we all get disappointed, our expectations must be too high sometimes,
or it's just plain bad.
My recent disappointment would be Code Geass, I held off seeing this anime for a
while. As it was overly hyped, I felt reluctant to see it. But I decided to give
a try, first few episodes was alright, but I couldn't really get into it. I
don't like how the mechs are, or any of the characters, and I liked Gundam Seed
a whole lot better than Code Geass. I couldn't even bring myself to finish CG, I
heard some people like and hate it. Can't say I hate it, but it's not for me.
And another would be Darker than Black, it was really getting good. One of my
favourites of this year, but the ending didn't resolve anything! They opened so
much in the story, only to leave it at almost nothing in the end, majorly
disappointed in that one, because it was a really great series I thought. One of
the more original storylines of this year, but they couldn't keep the story
steady unfortunately.
Lastly, the worst anime I saw this year was Devil May Cry. Big big fan of the
game ... I knew it was gonna be trash most likely, but never expected it to be
that bad.

so are ever disappointed?
Yeah. I can name one right now: "Himawari!" Worst. Series. Ever.

yup, many in fact!
such as:
- Baccano!
- Dragonaut -The Resonance-
- Code Geass
- more+
and almost all the shonen-ai anime *truly needs more developments*
melody of oblivion, gantz, ouran high school and many more....

Hell yeah I've been disappointed...
two words...Trinity Blood
It promised a lot, but ultimately delivered nothing.
The author

The Trinity Blood anime disappointed me. I wish that they followed the manga more closely.

Yes Gantz Is Very bad Ending, for the other anime I think is Trinity Blood, Devil
may Cry and many more...

I'm usually more agitated with fillers and pacing than the anime itself. Naruto, Bleach, and RK fillers drove me to the edge of insanity.
Bo-bobobo-bo was the worst series I saw.Attacking with your nosehair?My,give me a break,thats insane.

yes, the one that stuck with me the most was e's otherwise. ther was no story, no connection... it just didn't flow.
Do all Gainax animes and mangas fit in? Very good and sometimes great stories with freak endings. Mahoromatic anime episode 'Na-Geanna' is a fault.
