which language do you watch anime?

It's more authentic for the Japanese dub. I notice the Americans more or less use many of the same voice actors across various series and productions. To be truthful they said kind of annoying and mismatched. But there are faults on both sides. In the end I'd have to say the Japanese do it best, it's their creation so it only does it justice to hear it from their end. Remember subtitles can be misleading too...

Japanese is the way to go! With Fansubs of course XD

Japanese hands down. English translation changes the context and the very words in some cases when they are translated. Also...english voice actors suck lol, Batman and Superman are American classics, so I watch them in english, but Naruto, Bleach, Ah Megami Sama...those are pure Japanese...so c'mon guys give them some respect and watch them in Japanese.

i like to watch them in japanese with english subs. there much funnier that way and you get to learn a bit of japanese

I rather like anime in japanese with subs in English or in Spanish (Only If I don't have any other choice...mexican subs...nah -_-' ).

I watch anime in both english and japanese. Though I'll only watch it in english if the dubbing is good, otherwise i'd watch it in jap.

Truthfully, I would rather watch it in Japanese with English Fansubs. I don't enjoy Dubbed animes too much, cuz frankly, I've had some bad experiences with them. And besides, I tend to think that the Japanese voice can make it sound more authentic, then English.

I normally watch it in English because I don't have any money to buy the subbed versions, although there have been a few animes that I've been able to watch in Japanese.

I usually watch in in Japanese with English subtitles, but if I'm watching on TV it's dubbed in English.

japanese with english subs.. always =)

English is what I perfer, I only watch them with subtitles if I have to, like for the Naruto Movies and the new subbed Bleach movie

jap and eng (sometimes)

Japanese with English subtitles preferably.

Japanese with Englush sub

Mostly Japanese with the English subtitles. Except for Howl's Moving Castle which I listen to in English because of Billy Crystal's Calcifer.

I watch almost all of my anime in Japanese with English subtitles. I do like some dubs though.

Definitely Japanese! Anime is Japanese so it's best to leave it at that...... -_-
Add in a few subtitles and you'll learn a new language in a few months without even trying......
Besides, dubs really piss me off.... There are just some things you won't understand if it's not in the original language...... And if it's not the soundtrack they're messing with, it's the storyline they're fiddling around with....

Funsubs rock!

Nippon! with or without eng subtitles ^.^

Japanese, the seiyuu are just so amazing, and the range of voices are so wide and amazing. I also have subtitles to accompany, in english ;]

I Like in Japanese with subtitles cause they translate terminologies used in Japanese in spanish dont like much cause change some dialogues

If possible,German.
Otherwise japanese with english subs.

Japanese is simply the only language to watch anime in... with english subs of course! here is the question I ask though, why has this site not put 'anime' in their spell checker? it is Mini Tokyo for crapping out loud, and we can't even say anime?!?!?!?!

I Prefer Japanese Dub with English Sub The most :)

As for me, i'll 100% watch it in Japanese as only in its native language the tension and the true feelings of the characters can be fully expressed. Not like when it is dubbed in English or other languages, the character's voice actor is sooooo lame and not into the situation as the real seiyuu did. However, the anime i watch can be in English subs or Chinese subs (my native language) as they're fine coz they're words XD but i would prefer it in Chinese as Japanese words do have similarities in word usage (kanji) and therefore easier for me to understand :D
It's not that the English subs are not good, it's just that sometimes when the terminology is expressed in English, it sounds abit weird for me ^_^'
