i am a chinese, but even being one for about 15 years for my life , i dont
really speak very well, instead my english is rather good.
i heard once somewhere that chinese actually trains both parts of the brains,
left, and right, well i guess that should make chinese one of the formiddable
languages to
acquire.
i think that whatever your second language is, regardless. you are already
fluent in one languge and whatever you try to learn you relate it back to your
native toungue and this makes it hard to learn. if i had to pick one specific
one, though i heard chinese is pretty hard
lol japanese isn't hard to be honest.. its just very foreign so you might not be
used to it.... the kanji might be a bit tough to learn but with due time thats
easy to learn too....
now.. english is friggin hard..... we just don't notice cause we learned it as a
first language or at a young age..... english and chinese.... god like... i'm
scared to learn chinese lol ... too difficult... ill fail ( i
mean university courses... )
I don't think Chinese is very hard because I can say a little bit. Other
languages are okay too like French because my father knows it and so he says it
really easy. I think Russian is the hardest languages.
Technically English would be hardest to learn if you're not brought up with it,
since it has a set of rules but also so many exceptions to rules. For an
English-speaking person, maybe French would be pretty hard to learn.
Well, I've heared that Chinese is the most difficult language in the world. I
don't know if you have heard this but during our highschool it was said that
Arabic has the most complete and structual grammer of all languages. They seem
to have rule for everything!
NO NO NO WAY ..
i think the arabic language is the most difficult
because i am an arabian guy
and i watch anime and listen english and japanese song
but i don't face any problems in say the lyrics of them
i don't think any of you learned the arabic language
Chinese! I find it hard to remember all those characters. @_@" Plus, you
have to get all those tones right, which confuses me - whenever I try to speak I
end up screwing the tones around...
chinese. there's a different character for every single word. i can speak it but
because i grew up in a english-speaking country, i can't really read or write. i
probably can't even write a whole sentence without having to use a dictionary
xD
and i've been learning it for 10 years, albeit only 2hrs a week though.
The easiest is Japanese and the hardest is English.English's easy to write or
understand but very hard to speak!Don't know why! Most people here in Japan has
great trouble to speak it,including me.

The hardest languages to learn are Czech, Chinese, and Scandinavian (Mostly Norwegian). Hands down.
Chinese. I'm pretty good at it though but I still think it's hard...
From what I've heard/seen I would say Japanese and Russian.
