Some people say that AMVs ruin anime... I don't think that's so. I like AMV
cause they can make me feel some emotions. I also make AMV, so that's impossible

I make amvs, while there are some that do ruin animes there are some that
explain relationships better. There's one Utena music video that gives me
goosebumps on how well it explains the relationship between Shiori and Juri.
It's almost creepy.
I think it depends on AMV, some may really spoil watching anime if they're
containing spoilers (those are AMV's you should watch after seeing anime), but
some are great to watch if you're wondering if this serie is for you. I love
AMV's, thought I'm not making any (I just don't know how to use those programs..
)
And my favorite AMV's are yuri AMVs ^^ heheh
I've done just one AMV.. do amv help to explain feelings or emotions.... some
are beutiful and amazing and anothers well.. no comment jeje.. but the anime
videos is another faces of teh otaku jeje
AMVs are one of my favorite pasttimes. Nothing makes me feel better than
watching a really good AMV...
I also make my own AMVs, although I'll let you decide whether or not they're any
good. I'll admit, some of them are kind of lousy, but some of my newer ones I
consider to be my best work.

I put them in my favorites in order to make my videos easier to find.
I don't make any of my own, and I gotta admit that I don't much like watching
them either. The reason for that is the poor quality of most AMV's. I'm not
talking video quality or anything, but the quality of the build itself. To me,
AMV's are to tell a story using the video and song together. Most AMV's don't do
this though, it's just the song with various footage slapped together with no
purpose (ie any DBZ AMV with Linkin Park songs). My friend feels the same way,
and he's actually doing something about it by making his own AMV's. He listens
to music, and if that song makes him think about a certain series, it's
characters, and/or events, then he'll make an AMV for it, and they've turned out
great so far.
yes i like them but only if i saw the anime first because if not they have no
sense and i won't be able to understand ant to feel the emotions or the message
which the amv's try to send us
i would like to make AMV but then now dont have the chance to learn it!and then
i dont have my own computer too!haiz...but then i know that 1 day i sure will
learn all the things that i want!i also think that AMV no harm.it just let me
share my feelings to others!^^

And AMVs can ruin an anime if the music isn't chosen well and doesn't fit the
theme of the anime. Synchronization also has to be good, or else everything will
look out of place.
I used to love watching AMV's a lot, but since Youtube started taking down
anime, I stopped going to Youtube as much which resulted in watching less AMV's.
I have a few of my own, and I make them with Windows Movie Maker. ;P
I love AMV's, but I can not make them xD I mean.. probably I could, cause it's
not impossible or something, but I don't have enough patience for this..
I honestly admire people who make AMV's, they're totaly awesome!

It kinda takes a while since it depends on your moods and that you have to match
up the mood of the anime/manga along with the song.
i wanted to learn... lol i tried failed horribly... well i was tryin gto learn
how to use adobe premier 2... got so confused i did some
but gave up hehehe would pick it up again if i had time..... ( only chose
premier cause i wanted to do hardcore effects... rather than just a cutting out
and making cheap blend in and out effects )
......... like.... the amv " Euphoria " *drooool* so pro
