If you have ever heard of the famous Japanese Director Akira Kurosawa and seen his movie's as i have. I'd Like to know what you think about his philosophies, storytelling, and choice of actors...

I'm really eager to see more of his movies, for so far I've only seen parts of the "Dreams of Akira Kurosawa" and it was excellent; his way of telling the dreams in that dream-like style but without losing itself in surrealism. Unbelievable. I'd love to see seven samurai for I loved the anime they made a while ago... and Kagemusha sounds pretty interesting as well... I've heard many of his movies tell stories simmilar to those on shakespeare's books as well.

I'm glad someone decided to comment on this thread.
And of course it would be Haohmaru77!

They really are good movies, Seven Samurai is Great( its over three hours). And Ran is an amazing adaptation of King Lear.

yea his movies are excellent. this guy knows how to do it right :)

i've only seen Seven Samurai (best black and white film i've seen) and The Hidden Fortress.

im gonna see Ran and Rashomon if i can get it cause its hard to find.

I also love dreams of akira kurosawa, love the kind of movies that are not meant to have a logical end for everyone
