I would have never figured out that girls like gundam too ^^ Anyways, here goes;

1) Onegai Teacher - Because it's funny and heartwarming at the same time ^^
2) Full Metal Alchemist - Would have been my #1 if it hadn't been liscened
3) Full Metal Panic - Mecha + Comedy done well
4) Chrno Crusade - I haven't watched all of it yet but it looks good ^^
5) Gundam Seed - Only because of the gundams
