Hey CL! I've been gone for a while with a huge winter storm knocking out my power. It sucked. Period. Ahem. I updated the wallpaper illuminations, which brings me to my reason for making this announcement.

Starr made the decision that no member would be illuminated twice. A good idea. The problem is that I'm out of people to feature. I'm not going to feature something that's not up to CL's standards to make sure that someone gets featured that's never been up there before. I decided to essentially start over on the list of people that have already been illuminated. I'm doing the features so I'll do my best to keep track of who's been featured and who hasn't. I'd also like to throw out that if a wall is just too good to pass up, I'm going to feature it even if it's from a previously featured artist. I'll try to feature that in addition to the new artists if at all possible. If you think that someone should be featured and want to nominate them just drop me a PM and I'll take it into consideration.

Second executive decision: I removed the "most improved" section. When we started featuring only previously unfeatured artists, we were by default honoring the improvements of our members. If you think someone deserves special recognition for improvements, let me know, and I'll see if they can be illuminated in the next update! Also, you can post in the guestbook "OMG did you see how good so-and-so's new vector is?" so that everyone sees that you appreciate the hard work and improvment! The gb isn't just for submissions, it's also for sharing with our friends.

Celestial Luminesse is the most active walling group and I'm committed to keeping it alive! The only way to do that is to keep communicating with each other and the admins. Thanks to everyone that actively participates when you can, and have happy holidays and a great new year!

Sounds good And I don't think it's too much of a problem is an artist gets illuminated twice, as long as it's not all the time or twice in a row. But it's nice to give other people the opportunity as well

i dont see any reason why someone cant be featured twice in a row
its not about chosing a member but chosing best wallpapers
oh and about "the most improved"... theres one person that improved incredibly for last few months... i'll pm you about it

i need to participate more! and i think its ok to feature someone more than once too.
