i like anime just like my life: dark, sad, lonely...cold

why would u think like that?for me,like anime coz the it is great!they got the things that in reality world we dont have.^^

It's gotta be humorous with plenty of action.

There good stories and with many types,I just enjoy much to watch.

i have to have an anime with romance, but not much drama, nor much comedy, a balance... with action and a lot of thing to bring to humanity.

Lot of humor and bishojo. That why I watch GA, Lucky Star, etc. Damn, they were cute.

I like alot of different anime but my favorite is the sci-fi and fantasy genres. Fan service is fun too.

it actually depends on my mood as to what I may be interested in...but for the most part it's the dark, depressing, everyone dies type thing

I like anime wiht comedy, action, SF, magic, romance,... , or all together

idk...sometimes I watch depressing anime, or happy, funny animes

I enjoy a lot sad/sacrifice moments in anime shame i dont find much anime like that

I prefer comedy and the series of science fiction or magic.

I dont really like animes that run in chronological order. Too straightforward for my liking. But some animes are exceptions though, they carry the time line very interestingly

Ending has to be conclusive(or at least decently completed) man... alot of endings simply... cant be considered ending...

Yea, and one thing i hate abt anime is all the non-constructive parts.
Eg. Yugioh: talks alot of friendship, same sentences all over again, practically all the 100+ episodes has it. As long as the almost the entire episode (~15mins, and its quite common for god sake)

Eg2. Gundam Seed/Destiny. That stupid "peacekeeper" (main chara) keeps talking abt securing peace. The only thing that ever changes is the way he phrases it.

Its always "PEACE IS GOOD PEACE IS GOOD" ard that line.
Very super simple, total no brainer, any kind of idiot culd have scripted that, ffs. Super childish.
I prefer the speech to be somewhat intelluctual (Like a politician, a GOOD one, or a military commander), mature. Preferably philosophical in some understandable way. (some animes really do things like matrix)

about anime yugioh yeah in dubbed version,frienship talks doesn't have in the original japanese, in fact is more comical however the real defect of yugioh anime is the lack of the progressing story and concentrating just in the game cards,there a huge diference between anime and manga,in the manga reveals more the personality and the story progressing is much better(and there not much game cards concentration).
Yes I prefer read manga than watching the anime,because of the story and how characters develops with the story.

I like my anime with lots of character development, quirky humor, and great art.

Believable, or at least down to earth characters. Dry wit (alway hard to find in anime), but I'll settle for un-forced humor or even un-forced conversation. Good storyline is always cool too.

But that would be the perfect world. In reality I'm happy to watch just about anything.

for animes, it has to hav a lot of action, good story line, and comedy.
for mangas, romance. cuz action-packed mangas look whole lot betR animated than just showing one picture at a time of an exciting scene.
