personally i like just about every kind of genre, it generally has to deal with
the ability of the anime to keep my attention, and if i like or cant stand the
art style.
I like sci-fi stories, mainly those that talk about man and AI machine
relationship. But it's a pleasure to watch and anime or read a manga with a
great story, characters and art.
I think that this are the ones romantic/action/comedy ,sci-fi/action
with sports i haven't seen yet,but i believe that any kind of anime has
something interesting...
I prefer anime that's actually a jack of all trades, where action, romance,
comedy, drama and mystery come together to give us one hell of a story. I really
hate tragedies and plots that border on psychology... so yeah, I really wouldn't
enjoy any anime that's too dark/angsty and makes my brain bleed with all the
scientific mumbo-jumbo.
I'd agree with Banchan mostly. I like an interesting story and a good helping of
humor. Action and romance are both welcome additions as well. In general, I
don't care for series that take themselves too seriously, though I'm sure there
are some exceptions--I've only started reading/watching manga/anime
recently.
Oh, and I have absolutely no objections to liberal fan service... >:D

Sci-fi anime owns.....But i love ones like Gundam though......

I like EVERY genre! i can't choose one exactly^^' but thats depend on what a temper you are on^^ that day nyahahaha
