Heroic Age, Claymore, Blue Dragon, Devil May Cry, Myself Yourself - there are
even more than these. I think they are somehow one of the best. It ? 1 I plays -
Terra e... (2007) I love it.
Code Geass, definitely! Of course i haven't actually watched all the anime from
2007 as of yet, but of the ones that seem to be most popular that i have seen,
Code Geass, absolutely.
I think these are most worthy of being the very best of 2007:
-Clannad. I absolutely love Kanon, but I might just think Clannad is even
better. Kyoto Animation certainly did an awesome job on the animation and they
whole thing was just perfectly moe ^__^
-Ef ~ A Tale of Memories - I'm surprised no one mentioned it yet... I thought
the story was absolutely incredible. The metaphors in Ef created a story with a
great sense of depth. Animation was also used well to convey those metaphors and
tell the story. Unlike a lot of the usual anime, the music was outstanding.
Overall, it was the most interesting anime I've seen this year.
-Nodame Cantabile - I'm not sure if I should consider this as one of the best,
but I would say it at least comes close. At least I would consider it my
favorite shoujo-type anime. One particular thing I liked about it was the
animation of the characters playing instruments. I always hated how cheap the
animation in a lot of anime was when it came to showing a character playing a
violin or any instrument and all they did was use two or three frames and
repeated it. That aside... I really enjoyed how Chiaki and Megumi strove to
reach their goals in life. I'm personally interested in concert bands/orchestras
so I thought the anime was interesting in that regard, but I'm also glad they
did a good job in developing Nodame Cantabile and not merely BSing a lot of the
things.
-School Days - The most significant aspect about this anime for me is primarily
the ending. It's not a really fun anime to watch, and maybe the reason I put
School Days near the top is because it greatly hit me emotionally.
Of course there were a lot of other really good anime this year, but there are
also a lot I havent seen yet >.> I'll watch them... eventually....
Quote by SamikaCode Geass isn't on your
list! D: It was definitely my anime series of the year. Season 2 is coming out
in April this year, I'm so excited. X3

watch the series....i got the ending embeded into my memories of traumatic anime
endings......
There so many on that list that I haven't seen or even heard of. From what I
watched, I would say Lucky Star, Hayate no Gotoku!, Clannad, and Mahou Shoujo

4 seto no hanayome
5 lucky star

I didn't really find (m)any compelling new anime this year but I really liked
the art or style of each of the above. Sky Girls was too loli for my taste,
though...
lol I've hardly seen any of those. started watching shining tears x wind and DMC...
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai and Claymore.
I can't really pick a number 1 fav for this year.
My favorite anime for 2007 is definitely Lucky Star since it made me watch the series twice.
