Id say kindgom hearts and FF8 have the best game opening, love liberi fatali and simple and clean, they match perfectly with the intro of each games ^__^

Both of the Lunar games, Silver Star Story & Eternal Blue. I like them both, but I think that Lunar 2's is the best of them. Lucia was such a good character.... too bad she wasn't playable

Final Fantasy has the best intros, esp Final Fantasy viii. Damn Squaresoft... so damn good intros !

I'd say soul edge (or blade) ...I know it's a kinda old psx game, but for the moment I've never seen an opening that was such great....

Final Fantasy VIII has one of the best intros i've seen ever, and after it, Xenogears one

FFXI has a great opening vid, Chrono Cross too. Dawn of War's opening vid rocks though

FF7, just for the sheer beauty of the effects, the music, and something about an industrial hell, then suddenly contrasted with Aeris and her flowers.

Tales of Symphonia (japanese version), Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 2, Soul Calibur II, Final Fantasy VII, IX, & X, Chrono Cross, ummmm.....cant think of any more off the top of my head...so thats it for now.

Kingdom Hearts and Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War are really good. Final Fantasy VII is a nostalgic favourite of mine too. Can't think of any others that people haven't already mentioned. DOAX had a great opening sequence too except like one other member said for some of the stuffed up characters.

i really liked Kingdom Hearts and though Zone of the Enders probably wasn't up to par to some of the ones mentioned here but every five minutes seemed to be a movie clip which was just awesome~!

Onimusha 3 shows most impressive opening movie. GranTurismo Series and Disblo 2 were amazingm, too.

I'll go with Alundra, and Dragon Slayer (Turbo Duo, )--Anime intros, heh, go figure! Hmm.. seems to be a lot of RPG intros. Them puzzle games need to get their acts together!
