sadly... it was pokemon, that was when it first came out in america
then i saw DBZ, and then Princess Mononoke finally REALLY hooked me in. (pokemon
was more about the video game than the anime for me and dbz was more a
"cartoon" than specifically anime in my mind)
The first I really followed was DBZ, but my true passion for the style began
with Gundam Wing. I loved the mecha, the voice acting (English), the political
drama....I loved every bit
Been watching anime ever since
Okay... I have to admit, when I was 10 I watched Dragon Ball Z ... But
my first real anime was Fullmetal Alchemist. (My evil friends kinda ruined it
for me though... )
So many years ago, "Sailor Moon" got me searching the web and find a
few other animes. But i'd be lying if I excluded "Tenkuu no
Escaflowne" out of the picture. It was the latest one that really got my
drive for Anime and Manga.
You see I love art and when my best friend started drawing her own anime
characters I thought they were very cool looking, so I was interested in knowing
what anime was. My mom seen how interested I was so when she was at a garage
sale she found the movie X.
After seeing X I fell in love. I thought this is diffenitly my kind of anime. I
was so happy to see the ova series also.
And to this day X is my favorite anime of all times! So
I'd have to say CLAMP is my favorite artists. That was 5 years ago! WOW!
Mine was Inuyasha as well I
thought it was amaaaazing at that time, though I had to modify my opinion since
then xD I'm still collecting the manga though :3
Mine was a combination of Pokemon, Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura (all three
of them were the horribly butchered versions that were aired in the US). Of
course, I didn't know what anime was back then and I didn't know that they were
butchered. Later on, I saw Inuyasha on adult swim and that's when my love for
anime really took off and I learned all about anime (there wasn't anyone around
me to introduce me to it, so I was on my own).
Kimba the White Lion and Speed Racer long ago, then Nausicaa when it was first
over here as well as finding stacks of Shonen Jump at used book stores.
About the time Macross first came out is when video tapes of other series and
movies were coming over.
All those grainy, horribly over-copied tapes of what are now classic shows. ^^
Well.. I cant really remember which one... but its one of these~ Sailor Moon,
Dragon Ball or Cyber Formula GPX. Howver, for sure CFGPX is the one which keeps
my luv for anime until now..
gundam wing
mine was Pokemon and Sailor Moon
it was probably because i used to watch like Chesse Tv in the morning LOL!
Onegai Teacher. 13 eps
Pokemon ands Digimon were my first that I watched but the one that got me hooked was DBZ
