I'm very bad at drawing. I have yet to give up though! I will continue until I am good at drawing! If I don't surrender, then you shouldn't HYPERHEV!

see? there you go! now that's an artist for you! one who will never give up at all costs! :D

Usually when I draw my own characters, only the girls come out right. Guys look way different then what I wanted. I asked a friend to draw my main male characters and they looked so much better then what I expected.

yep, yep, yep! im makeing a manga called "Lost In Black and White Momentum" and i have so many characters with presice detail and personalitys its not even funny x.x

Im making a manga also so its Called "Urban Ninja". My main character is Hamarshi a young ninja who lives in the urban ruins of tokyo. It is set in the future about 3079.

All the time. I've been drawing since I was in the 3rd grade. I've got about 30 characters so far.

wow! a lot of ppl has been making mangas nowadays! which is really cool! hehe XD

i've been making my own as well, but i haven't much to do it anymore because of school. sucks... eh oh wells. :\

I have make my own anime characters but I'm still not good at drawing.

man, i even had a history, profile, relationships with others9charactors) man,
i just find it hard to make them into strips, the space restricts me too much, but if i can, i shurely would,

i see that , there are still mny out there like m, and i fell great about that, about the fact that there are so many others that share my passion,

i spend maybe hours just to finish maybe one piece of art,cos to me i think thatquality is more important than quantity,

so when i draw it wrongly even after hours, its really a bad feeling..but some days it just pays off.

:D

Yes I do!But strangely enough only my original male characters turns out great...My female characters mostly turns out different than I want then to be...Hm...

for me to draw my own characters the main difficulty sometimes come when to draw the them by side, you know by perfil, like we say in spanish.

and sometimes their feet... omgoddess those feet really sucks sometimes... i try my best on makin them the best in attitude, powers, looks and sexappeal.

all my characters are sexy in their own way... fashion and they all rock!

x3 i always draw oc! LOL i wish i was good enough to make a manga, maybe some day lol tho i draw more girls than guys lol i don't know how to draw men XD and since i have never studied how to draw my skill don't shine at all =_= but i still try to get better

I draw my own characters. I find it hard to visualize them if I'm not putting them on paper. :D

By the way, are you filipina?

lol yup. take a look at my page i have a couple of plages from my manga project i discontinued-_- its really old and i can draw way better now but its still good lol^^

and dont give up on drawing! if u knew me i wouldnt allow u to give up that easily on drawing^^ i can help u learn if u want lol. spread the anime luv!

yeah and sttill practicing :] I don't think they turn out as well but I'm working on it :3

Yes, I have tried to draw original characters from a fan fiction I wrote a few years ago. My drawing skills are pathetic, but I enjoy drawing anyway! I really like designing the costumes and hair styles the most.
Unfortunately, I don't seem to get any better at drawing, but I will keep trying. ;p

Yep, tried before, however, most of the illustrations are either based on machines or on females...^^!

I've thought about it and even planned what my character would look like. But I lack artistic talent so what I try to create never seems to turn out the way I wanted it to look.

I do all the time!

I've created my own characters before, and they turned out pretty well. It all has to do with a combination of imagination and familiarity. One can be substituted freely for the other, and no reasonable person is going to have a problem with it. I found that drawing already existing characters, especially ones that are in different styles, helped me get a wide variety of experience, and helps you develop your own style.

Right now I'm the artist for a new webcomic, www.z2012.com, with characters quite loosely based off of myself and my writer in appearance. Unfortunately, my art needs a lot of work, since I'm not used to using photoshop, or being rushed to finish drawings on a schedule.

However, I've found my art to be getting progressively better the more I draw, so it goes to show that no matter how talented you are, you'll see improvement if you practice.

I attempt my own characters quite often. My only issue concerns females: if I try to draw one, she'd look very much like a man in drag. A beautiful one, but quite butch. The men look great though. XD

Yeah, I've drawn my own personal characters before...even have a gallery of the art I've been able to do over the years in another site but I still have trouble drawing girls...And I mean Big Trouble. XD Hehe! Also I've been terribly busy, so I haven't been able to do much recently.

I don't have much trouble with the movements, as well as with the ladies...T_T; So sad...

I know I have done basic designs for my original characters in Naruto The Demon Within, a fanfic a friend and I are gonna work on. ^^ And we have had a lot of fun with that.

Bryon

Yes. And the result was horrible. I guess I'm only good at thinking the concept but unable to draw. Oh well...
