and up sounds about right... actually how bout 17 and up? Just wanted to throw

It sure would be a nice idea to have a section for unsorted ecchi.
But I *do* think (as many ppl here) that it would be even nicer to have a
specific gallery of ecchi, with unsorted AND sorted stuff, so that
"regular" scans won't be "polluted" anymore by ecchi.
This way, people that don't want to be "offended" would be safe, and
MT would be protected by the "I agree to be older than xx" thingie for
people browsing the gallery.

Yeah it all sounds good to me. Does this mean we could lose some of the hideous
cencorship in any way ? Some great images are just destroyed by very tardy
paint work and they weren't that bad to start with.. Well they certainly
weren't hentai.

That's probably true...and I'm sure a lot of the female members would be happier
with the change too since they might be looking for scanz of say miaka from
Fuushigi yugi...the last thing they would want to see is many pairs of breasts
staring at them
Nuriko (and others) have pointed out that they would prefer not to see 'boobs
and panties' all over the place but if you look at the female scans favourites,
practically all of them are ecchi orientated so it's clear a lot of members like
that kind of image.
Consequently, creating an ecchi section sounds like a good idea in that those
who don't like ecchi simply don't have to look at it and those who do like it,
have somewhere to go. I say simply but in reality, it's not all that simple. As
far as I understand it, the mods are pushed with the present state of affairs.
If you create an ecchi section, it's fairly safe to say that it will be abused
by the hentai crowd and will need to be closely moderated which will require
more work which would add to the workload of the current mods unless, of course,
you appoint additional mods to police it per a pre-determined policy on what
would be allowable in the ecchi section.
a prevailing point in this thread has been that if such an ecchi section was
created in Minitokyo, it should be for those over 16 years old which is
admittedly difficult to police.
However, there may be a way around this apart from the standard disclaimer
(which will certainly be abused). Everyone who wants to join the ecchi section
has to make a token donation to Minitokyo. Doesn't have to be much.. say $5 or
thereabouts. Of course, I can only speak for my own country, but using Paypal in
the UK requires a direct debit on a bank account(or a credit card). For this you
need to be at least 16.
It would help Sheqel pay the bills and keep this community online not to mention
keep ecchi away from those too young to (legally) view it.
