If not, but you know where it is from, post it under the 'Other category' and write in the
comment the name of the anime series/game/studio/author
I did post it in the 'Other catergory',
but did not write in the comment the series because... i forgot... sorry bout
that.

- The image was directly taken from another website or an image gallery, with or
without modifying. Such pieces cannot be uploaded at all; only artwork created by yourself is allowed to be submitted
in the IndyArt section.
I did not submitted 'my' art into the
IndyArt section but into the wallpaper section.

All deleted submissions go into Quarantaine, where only staff can see them;
however, the thumbnails are still
displayed in your gallery. Simply locate the submission's thumbnail in
your gallery and copy its URL so that we know exactly which submission you are
talking about. Any complaints that do not
include a Minitokyo gallery link to the submission in question will be ignored.
I'm sorry but the thumbnail is not in my
gallery therefore I cannot give a link.

Ok, so Keltosh said we can submit unoriginal works but give credit,
yea?
I simply forgot, may I get my item 'un-deleted' so that I may edit it and
mention the name of the anime?
It doesn't matter that the botchii message says IndyArt, the same rule applies
for wallpapers as well. I suspect there was an error when selecting the deletion
PM, so I apologise for the confusion there.
Wallpapers and Indy Art categories are categories for artworks you make. This is
the most important part of the policy when it comes to submitting images that
are not scan in nature: all work must be yours. It can't even be your brother's
or sister's. We don't allow work to be posted even if you get written permission
- it must be your own work.
NB: In a wallpaper everything must be your own work minus the scan or the vector
if you use someone else's (hence credit) - stock photos as well. Indy Art must
be your own entire work.
The deletion is not because of a miscategorisation - we can move that for you.
The fact is that the image simply is not yours. That is why we deleted it. This
is known as ripping.
To be honest I'm a bit surprised that you didn't know about the ripping rule
after being here for more than an entire year. I would like to point you to the
Policy: http://support.minitokyo.net/policy/
and make sure you read it before your next gallery submission.
I hope that has clarified any confusion. The reason for deletion is that it's a
ripped wallpaper. (Also it doesn't matter how much modification you do to a
wallpaper you found - it's still ripping, even if you only take a portion of
it)
PS: From your quote,
only artwork created by yourself [can be submitted]
... which means if it's NOT your work, you can't submit it
PPS: This is based on your description,
by the way. It doesn't help that you named the item after a wallpaper made by
Nat, and is a flipped horizontally desaturated version of it. I know it's
acknowledging the source, but the Policy won't allow for that

No, you have not read the Policy.
