I haven't seen too many amvs but the fan in m e did cause my jaw to drop when i
saw my a live performance of the actual artist of one of my fave anime ost; 1/3
no junjouna kanjou from rurouni kenshin. i was just staring foolishly in front
of the computer, eyes wide in wonder -- anime style. hehe!
anyways, i love a couple of anime osts and bgms, top picks of which
include:
4th avenue cafe from rurouni kenshin
butterfly from digimon
alone from saiyuki
kimi ga suki dato sakebatai from slam dunk
zutto kimi no soba de from recca no honnou
but i guess my best pick would be a bgm also from rurouni kenshin titled
"departure". it's quite haunting. same goes with another bgm from the
series titled "minnaguroshi no elegy".
That feeling exactly suceed with Engel by Rammstein (Neon Genesis Evangelion.)
and with New by No doubt (Vandread). Actually I enjoy Better only the songs than
the AMV's. But I will never get tired of these videos.
I was fascinated with a song by "Bush" (the band, not the political
figure) entitled Chemicals Between Us,
which was used in an Escaflowne video.
I'd heard it several years ago (early teens) when a friend of my brother's gave
me several different discs full of AMVs he'd found online (some aspects of the
song sound absolutely perfect for an Evangelion AMV). Additionally, with the onset of the Internet
being readily avaliable to me, I found an addiction to a lot of music that has
been composed by Yoko Kanno (subsequently adoring most of the Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell music, as well as quite a bit of all her
work). There are far too many songs to list that I really like due to the world
of AMVs, ha ha.

After watching a Trigun AMV, I came to like Rammstein. Some of their songs are awesome.

Kodou~Whenever~ which is a song from D.N. Angel that was used in a Byakuya-centric Bleach AMV. I downloaded it right away.
I saw a Fullmetal alchemist amv with Moondance of Nightwish. I never heard before Moondance, Now that song is one of my favorites of Nightwish.
