I really don't want to bring history into this debet or this topic about the bible. I keep in short. People have been put the death because of the bible. For example KKK, same sex marriage, witch project, so on. I say is their life. Not yours (not your, particular). Deal with it.

i think those time they dont have computers! they wrote it in letters. those same verses r bcoz they saw the same things

I believe there is no heaven or hell, only what there is now. Nothing but a books tells you that there is something beyond the world we live now, which claims it own authenticity through itself. The thing the word hell holds true to me, is the use of it as a descriptive word.

There's a quote from Oscar Wilde that goes like this: “We are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell.�
Personally, I think that the concept of a hell and heaven beyond this world does not exist. But in this world, there are certainly situations that we ourselves get into, and we make this world our own hell or heaven depending on our decisions.

that's an interesting quote. and i totally agree with krelic. people are responsible for their own decisions and it's up to them on how the want to live their lives. if they wanna live in a pleasurably painful life (like a nasty masochist would) let em. although it's quite disturbing, i don't blame em if that's what makes em happy.

i'll tell this again.. some sick people in this world had ever been in apparent death. when they were in this condition, they saw someone close to them n asking to go to a brightful place. bcoz they refused it, they can still alive until now. one of my sister's friend's grandma experienced this.

As well, I can see what your getting at and no that is not that case. The ability to process information, we are taught in school at a very young age, even in infancy. For us to not have such an ability, would mean that we do not teach our children. Or perhaps you mean the imagination in terms of inventing, still in the catagory of processing. Lol, I must admit, society does not need people who are free thinkers and is killed somewhat in regular schools. Still, things are still being invented and discovered whether you hear about them in the news or not. Usually the news doesnt report it, science isnt that interesting to the public it would seem. Lol, can you tell me what a Bose-Einstein Condensate is? That was discovered not too long ago, no one knows what it is that I ask, except for maybe a couple who actually watch such programs that air the information. -Umm, people were lucky to live till they were 40 in those days. People had a really hard time getting all the nutrients their bodies needed, and sometimes went through famines. I can assure you that, even though we might be exposed to more chemicals these days (which usually lead to cancers), though I have heard that foam shampoos will block passages in the brain after long term use. they do not out do the amount of time we gain from better nutrition, and antibiotics. Anyways, intelligence level is really up to an individual, kids who have done well in school have been found to just need effort. Anyone who is motivated to learn can be intelligent. I dont believe that these people ever lived, but even if it was true, they only lived as long as they did because god made humans life spans much longer in those days. The part about nutrition isnt really the consumers part, advertiser often purposely mislead the consumers, giving the impression that the product is healthy, but actually isnt. Take Mc Donalds, find one commercial with an over weight person in it, and tell you that they have salads (like that helps, the salads are still loaded with fat thanks to the dressing and chicken thats added). Another product that is lied about, is febreez. Its an air freshener that fills that air with nice smelling chemicals. They tell you that it cleans the air of bad smells, which is the lie. For one thing, its supposed to disappear into nothingness, which defies the law of consevation of mass, and even if it could get rid of the smell, it would have to be a chemical reaction, which this isnt as you can probably tell if you spray some. Its just a chemical that coats the inside of your nose. Im not sure about febreez in particular, but most air fresheners can damage your ability to smell, and some contain pesticides that will stay in your body for the rest of your life.

for me, not sure I still got sins to amend. I believe that there is Heaven or Hell because of the many instances and signs, paranormal and ghostly somethingz. If there are spirits, then there is surely an afterlife. We are made for a purpose and the spirits wandering around and apparitions are the people who have unfulfilled things or what. I have to pass on purgatory awwww

you can't really blame em. most of those teenagers usually have domestic problems. divorced parents. abusive parents. abandoned orphans. and whatnot. i'll admit, i've done a couple things of that sort. i've experimented with drugs and girls. X3 didn't get addicted to the drugs but i sure did get addicted to girls (must be my carefree attitude that prevented me from being addicted to drugs besides the fear of getting my ass kicked by my parents, especially my mom). hahaha. anyway, in all seriousness, moses and abrahom and whoever lived to thousand something because they used a different number/counting system. if you think about it, people in the old testament lived to hundreds or thousands of years while the new testament's people lived less than 100.

No such thing as people living till 1000 years old. Biologically, it is impossible due to telomerase lost when mitosis (i.e. cell splitting) occurs. And back then, people lived shorter lives than us now due to lack of access to medical facilities. All unearthed biological records supports that fact.

Actually, its more like, not enough diseases were uncovered. Anything can be unhealthy depending on how its prepped.

People actually were also a lot less healthier back then. Dental health, medical first aid, there were absolutely nothing. So their dental cavities were like filled with bacteria and deterioated. Not a lot of people knew proper bandaging, (and not a lot of people know it now). And theres a lot of other stuff whether it be for food safety awareness (eating rawfood) or other stuff, there weren't a lot of things like that known throughout those times. Just living to 50 is considered lucky for them, and living older than that is considered lucky a thousand years ago.
