Yes =_=
And unfortunately, I didn't know when to quit either. When you have two people, arguing with eachother, who don't know when to quit...it's a very long, bad, situation... ^_^'

Yes I know..I totally agree...

Yes and that is one of the most annoying things ever.

Quote by ShadowDreamer16Have you ever had an argument with someone who just didn't know when to quit? Who just kept going, and going, and going, trying to get you to say that they're right.

Well I have and it's down right annoying; it's almost like running into a never ending verbal assault. And I'd just like to know if you guys have ever been in the same situation as me and if so what did you do to end it?

Well, there's this guy in the Religion & Science forum, who keeps on insisting her faith, and despite consistent attack from all sides of the religious spectrum -she insists that she is right, that her religion is right, that her Bible is right, that we are wrong, our arguments are flawed, and that we should convert and bow to God.

To those frequenting the forum, you know who I am talking about.

Quote by oudorobousure. sometimes, i'm the one who never quits.

Glad to see someone is being honest... I think most people have something they argue about at some point and can't let go, whether or not they realize it (and a lot of people don't fess up to it and blame it on the other person...).

I know I do it, and sometimes it's not really about the argument I'm in. It happens generally when I'm upset over something different and I don't realize what I'm doing until it's pretty far into the argument. It's the worst when you get into that situation with someone else having the same issue because then it goes on and on and on like the Energizer Bunny >_< Probably the best thing you can do to break the cycle with minimal damage if you're arguing with a friend isn't to give in or walk away, but to admit this isn't going anywhere and change the subject entirely. Doesn't work all the time, but it's worth a shot
