It should be abolished everywhere. I can't believe it hasn't in a modern country
such as the USA. It's the cause of much disgust here in Europe, and very much
what causes people here to think of north americans as barbaric people.
I don't even see the point of it. Justice should never be in the hands of the
wronged, because justice should be fair and impersonal. Killing won't bring back
whoever's been killed; and besides, it's the ultimate hipocritical behaviour,
punishing someone for doing something while doing the same thing to him
You would never educate a child like that; the criminals just won't learn that
way. It's proved innefectual; actually, YSA has an over-the-top criminal rate
compared to countries in Europe that DON'T have Death Penalty

But i doubt criminals would think that way though.

There's no need to respect a person's life if he doesnt respect the others.
No they should speed it up, BUT I think before the death sentence can be issued,
there must be concrete evidence that they did it. There must be no shadow of a
doubt that the suspect is guilty.
And if there is 100% positive that the suspect is guilty, they should be taken
out and executed from the court room. No waiting on death row for 15 years.
People that take an innocent person's life are subhuman to me and are unfit to
be treated as people. For murderers death is a luxury that if things were as
they should be they would beg for me to just kill them.
