oww.....I managed to drag my lazy bum off the couch to do a lil bit of
graphics....well it IS a holiday ya know Being
the 16 yr old me..I was stuck at home with no where to go *sigh*....well its not
that 16 yr olds here can drive anyway... @_@ lolz....SO....here it is!
Hey, thats actually pretty good man. The only complaints I have with it is that
you might want to make the water a bit more sublte (and softer, but by softer I
mean that the colours blend better, dont lose and detail on it and dont make it
fuzzy) and the other thing is that it could be higher resolution if possible,
like 1280x960 or 1600x1200. Otherwise I think its worthy of the main
gallery.
@AnimeRoxz: If you have the time, could you help me out with mine? ( Gundam UC
Wallpaper )
love the concept since were out of starry moony walls
but anyways the water needs to be soften or make it a little blurry
but the gradient color is ok, next are the stars they are too many
try reducing them and make them a little bit smaller, also dont let the moon
cover with stars.
the moon placement is ok so no problem on that part, next is the fog
urm...clouds?
well i suggest you to remove the clouds on the sky and try putting some more
below make some variations of cloud positions, lastly is the tears..there are
too much sparkles
i suggest to put only 2 sparkles on the left side of her eye the 1st is bigger
and the 2nd is smaller.
the text is great but need to resize that into smaller size. I'll wait for your
update and i'll check if anythings can be changed keep
it up! and good luck!
I like it, it's really pretty, and I'd like to see what it would look like with
the suggestions people have listed too. My only real comment is that I kind of
dislike it when the title or words are listed so blatantly; if you feel the need
to include the title I think it would be nicer if it was done so more subtly,
perhaps written in a smaller font, and/or at the bottom, in one of the corners
or centered. Good work, though.

Oh, and maybe make the clouds a teeny bit more translucent. I really like them
though.
Since everyone else told you about the clouds ( softer, more translucent!, more
real etc.) and the water (not so harsh...), I'll tell you this; lighting needs
some tweaking.
The lighting on the girl is kind of like a purple glow. But your background is
lit with blue. Take away or soften the gradient in the distant and use a very
low opacity of purple for the colour overlay on the water and distant mist. You
can get to the colour overlay through the blending options, just in case you
need telling... Maybe a tinge of purple on the clouds/mist too? Try to use
different shades of purple though. And keep away from the reddish ones! They can
kill...
First of all, the 'styles' of everything is different (the water is 3D-ish, the
stars looked vector-like, the girl is anime, etc.). The thing that stands out
the most is the water, it looks too real compared to everything else. I suggest
to make it simpler - less detailed, but not so much that it looks like a
one-color block of blue.
The stars look like the same brush used over and over again. You should use some
variety. You should get a better star brush, or make some stars on your own from
a tutorial. You can find some really good brushes on deviantart - look for the
ones that look like the image on the tutorial aozoraskies gave you
(http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts_arts/making_a_star_field.html).
The moon is fine the way it is.
The clouds could use a bit more work. I see that you used some for the fog. You
could either find a good fog brush (which I've tried to do and failed miserably)
or use a tutorial. Depending on what program you use, some or all of these
tutorials may not work for you:
The tutorials are Photoshop tutorials that I googled. If none of these can help
you because of the program your using, you can look some up on google for your
program - which I'm sure you know how to do.
The clouds in the the sky will look fine once you've put in those new stars I
suggested.
The tear drops are a good idea, but it does need a bit more work. It doesn't
look very believable. A thick line down will only work as tears in a chibi
image. I suggest to redo the tears after a look at some computer graphic making
tutorials. There are too many sparkles, take some off. (If you didn't make the
tears, you may ignore this paragraph or try to remake them yourself).
Great extraction. Girl is looking good. This isn't a big deal, and it's not even
that noticeable, but I agree with aozoraskies on the colour. Compared to
everything else, the girl looks a bit purple. Try to give her a more blue
tint.
I really like your title. But those lines in between in the words bother me.
It's a good I idea, but I have to say that those line are really thick and
almost distracting. I say to make them around one pixel in width. Making it fade
of the sides would be really cool too - you can do this by using the 'Gradient
Tool' in Photoshop. Don't keep the bottom lines, but if you want to keep them, I
suggest make the width on pixel and make them barely noticeable. If you do this,
you should rearrange the text so that they aren't too far away from each other
and, well, look good.
EDIT: Don't overdo on the stars though.
Don't make them look to bright or they'll distract people from looking at the
whole wallpaper. Actually don't make anything too bright.

I agree that the water needs to be softer to match the character and the mist. Other than that, good work.

Oh yeah, the stars.. try this. http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts_arts/making_a_star_field.html
Don't make them too bright though, and probably should leave out the stardust thing too... light clouds may be nice though. ^.^
