This question is mostly geared towards those who are already out of high school.
Let's be frank, if you are still in high school, anything is allowed to be
funny. What I'm wondering of the older crowd, is what out there still makes you
laugh that might be considered juvenille or you think maybe shouldn't be funny
anymore? Ever been in the bathroom washing your hands, heard a loud fart and had
to hold back a huge laugh? Does other people's pain still get a chuckle
(skateboarders racking themselves on a bar or someone tripping)? If even during
the most serious conversation you hear the word penis, do you start clenching
your mouth shut to hold back the laughter? Let it go here.
Me personally, I laugh at way too damn much. Mostly random humor or dirty jokes
(see Powerthirst). Maybe being only 24 I'm still in that zone where this stuff
is still socially acceptable to laugh at, but I guess when I'm 40 if I am still
laughing, I'll probably get some odd looks.
It's funny, right after I hit submit on this thread, I went in the living room
and watched Spongebob. Give me some Spongebob or Invader Zim on the Nicktoon
Network and I'm probably going to watch it.
I miss invader zim and rin and stempy I don't get to watch tv very much any more
and I know they still come on, but I only have cable so I don't get those
channels that they are on...but just about anything makes me laugh pertaining to
cartoons and most things in pubic...especially the lovely yet commical aspects
of when kids are on leashes...I still laugh about that one...reminds me of a
leashed pet or something, of course I know it keeps the kid safe and blah blah
but still I can't help it...got to love being kid free and relationship free
hehe
there's no problem if you're laughing at juvenile humor. although, i'm not as
old as some of you guys (i just turned 20 last week) you can laugh at whatever
you want. i do. people who say that you're being juvenile just have a different
sense of humor or none at all.
Random humour, particularly bad taste humour is always a good laugh irrespective
of your age. For me, anything with a subtle humour that suddenly smacks you
around the head is always good (e.g. the older British comedies like "Are
you being served?", "allo allo", "Dad's Army", etc.)
with great scripting and intentional double-meanings and innuendo
throughout.
For something not so subtle - I'm currently enjoying "Bro' Town", a
New Zealand cartoon that is incredibly bad taste sort of like the "South
Park of the South Pacific" (the original first season South Park where
anything was fair game). Best thing about this series is picking the celebrity
voices - you've got the New Zealand Prime Minister, Helen Clark, doing several
cameos; and even one by HRH Prince Charles (after being prodded to do it by
Helen when he was last over on a visit).

True. And I'm almost 30.
Things that make me laugh:
Masa Ikariya (aka Ikamasa) from Umisho
the skateboard part from The Simpsons where Homer falls into the gorge and the
April Fool's episode (kinda ironic that I hate April Fool's Day)
Peter Griffin from Family Guy
Caramelldansen clips on Youtube
Izumi beating the crap outta Nakabayashi in He is My Master
