Is a good point that we don't gave to worry about what to wear in the morning(I would use boys uniforms,I'm a girl),but I still prefer my own clothes.I never wore but I would like to wear to try.

i wear uniforms everyday (i'm in the army, it's to be expected) it's rather comfy. i don't have to worry about "oh do i look good in this or that" or how people see me. although, i rather do miss wearing civilian clothes. but i say it's up to the individual. if they wanna wear uniforms, let em. if they wanna be conformists. sure why not.

No way! I don`t wear skirts and I would get crazy if I`d have to! And I`m pretty sure we wouldn`t get jeans and black uniforms! So I wouldn`t want to wear them!

haha.... hmmmm.. i dont dislike uniforms.. but i just odnt like to wear them... i might wear if it looks good on me, but other than that, i like wearing whatever you want XD

i wish i could do that... hahaha.

This questions is a little vague. Are you refer to schools, organizations, clubs, etc? Uniforms are at times mandatory. For instance, members of the armed forces should probably wear uniforms to designate rank and station so that in an instance when people must act quickly, commanders will be able to assess the competency and abilities of someone without having to know them personally just based on the designation on the uniform. Privates probably are taught a set of skills, corporals have another set of abilities above that, etc so that when an emergency happens and members from different companies are expected to work together, a commanding officer should be able to assume that whoever is wearing a certain uniform will be able to carry out specific tasks.
As to schools, absolutely not. It snuffs much of the individuality and uniqueness that students should be at liberty to express. Sometimes it cannot be helped if students are hiding weapons in baggy pants or overlarge jackets, but I strongly believe that school administrations should alllow their students a degree of freedom within reason. When I was in elementary school we had to wear uniforms on certain days and believe me, trying to pinpoint a friend out of a sea of blue and whites was truly bothersome.

I think that we should wear uniform as:
- You no need to bother yourself thinking "what should i wear today" making it faster and easier and you would not comsume so much time as time is really precious
- its actually kinda cool you know.. like a whole group of u wearing together same clothes...
- easier identification , like from a sea of ppl its easier to spot the ppl whom you are waiting for like.. eg. wanting to go to school together

lazy elaborate on wearing casual clothes...
basically I feel that wearing casually is not bad..

Depends on the uniform. Depends on the school, too. I'm sitting on the fence on this one.

i didnt like my uniform, so i agree with all of u... uniform sucks! :)

glad that where i work there´s no need of that :)

I use to wear uniforms in japan... i didnt like it T.T

i used to wear uniform for 12 years for good.
from elementary to highschool, almost the same, just different in skirts' color.
i hated it
now i'm in uni, no unifrom, and every morning i stand in front of my cupboard, clueless what should i wear for today.

sometime i think it's good to have uniform hehe

I think we should wear uniforms.I like the idea the wear a uniforms. That will won`t make me to choose what i should wear everyday

yes. we should wear uniforms. for convenience sake.

Uniforms? ... Sailor Seifuku? Why not *Drools* ;)

Anyway.. I think there's nothing wrong in wearing a uniform, wether wearing one in school or work.. because first of all it recognizes the discpline of a school/institution.. it also gives an idea for people to recognize students/schools/professionals.. and most of all, it gives both the school/institution and the wearer a degree of reputation in certain aspects of accomplishments.. :)

no I don't think so.
I hate themm! lol

There are good things about uniforms, which everyone has stated above. But I think it's better to have some individuality and wear whatever you want (within the limits of the dress code, of course). Otherwise, I'd never have the chance to show off my Nice Boat (TM) shirt!

Of course, I have to say that I wouldn't mind seeing girls in seifuku... >_>

when you wear blue pinafores over blouses in a freaking hot country, you learn to hate the wise ass who designed your uniform. other than that, uniforms are ok. lol.

i'm used to it anyway. 2 more years of uniform wearing and i'm off to university! lol.
