Well, they're basically an amalgamation of shinigami and hollow, so they have
the potential to be stronger than either Shinigami or hollow.
Basically, even if they're changed, they still need to practice to gain power.
It's like shinigami's as well, the captains didn't gain their power in a blink
of an eye, they gained it through, practice and experience.
You should state that what you are asking is a spolier and that many wont know
about the vaizards yet. The manga is becoming interesting and hopeully they will
answer your question about how strong they are. Hope to see more from Captain
Hitsugaya, Rukia, Renji and Ichigo when they fight them

i think you got it mixed up .. vaizards are shinigami that run to hollows ...
arracncars are hollows who gain shinigami powers by taking off their masks ..
but i think you get that now coz new manga are out ..
I must have overlook the chapter where a Vizard and Urahara has fought each
other.
However, I believe that they are able to fight with Arrancars in the same
niveau.
They should be super powerful seeing how they have acquired hollow powers and
they were strong enough against bankai Ichigo during his hollow training without
releasing there swords. There was however a during Ichigo's traing there was a
time that Love one of the vizard, was going to put on his mask because the
attack that Ichigo was building up to shoot at him was going to be
devastating.
Oh yeah there was also another time where Shinji was fighting against Grimmjow
and he was overpowering with his mask on.

his arm. In addition to that, he hasn't released his Zanpakuto. In other words,
he hasn't used all of his power. There is no way we can tell if Shinji or
Grimmjow would have won that fight. Power alone is not enough after all.
I dont think they very strong like Captain Hitsugya said. One of them almost lose to urahara Kisuke.
