while watching television it is limited to the source of information, u just
keep watching and watching it perpetually widout get anything beyond watching
the news, ads etc.. but wif internet, almost all everything happens around the
world you can know with a single click.. fast! An online news, a useful
up-to-date articles, and many moar~ so, internet is my choice.
OMG! Of course, surfing the net comes first to me. You have more freedom to roam
around and find exactly what you want.
TV shows are limited and scheduled. There's no such thing for the Internet. Well
expect for the fanfictions that I am very much addicted to. I
gotta wait for week/s or month/s to know what'll happen next. That the only time
that I wish these fictions were tv series so that I wouldn't have wait
impatiently and maybe forever.
I much prefer the internet as it is interactive. I can talk to people, play
games, and direct my attention wherever I want. TV is pretty boring on the
whole. I only watch three shows (Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, and Battlestar
Galatica) regularly. I occassionally watch Discovery or the History channel if
there is an interesting show on, but I pretty much avoid the TV like the plague.

I used to prefer TV watching to the Net... but it's the other way around now,
ever since I left for college. The college hostel has no TV (yikes!) but got
used to it, as the Net substituted the TV. Also, I can leave the Net on for long
hours, unlike my pay-per-hour dialup that I'm using in my own home... *sniff

I prefer surfing the net an chatting with friends via messenger, it's a lot more fun than watching tv alone at home ^^
