One girl tried to convince me she was a virgin as a way to get my interest. This at a small party while I'm with my gf (oh yeah, classy). Already knew otherwise and wasn't interested in her.

I've never lied about it, but some girls would obviously, only to get with the guys they really like more easily. Better girls wouldnt lie about it though, but theres no way to really tell anyway...

I'm a virgin so yeah if a female tells me I normally believe her, since I'm going on 30 anything is possible can't really test that theory out very well without "toys" but guys would have better luck in that one

Girls might do that if they think that their targeted guy prefers to have a virgin! It's a stupid lie but people do it to impress others sometimes. Personally I don't care if someone's virgin or not especially if that person is a guy. It's incredibly disturbing and awkward and I don't blame guys when they make negative reaction when they encounter with one of these questions.

Although this may sound weird, but I believe one can tell if someone's virgin by the way he/she carries him/her-self. Majority of guys have keen eye determining a girls virginity! I don't know how, but I have tried that with my guy friends and their assumptions were usually correct. They do that even without knowing the girl simply by looking at her.

I think a girl would lie about that because most of the guys are attracted to the thought of being the first, it's some kind of pride for guys to be the first for a girl.

I've never lied about it instead I was kinda proud of it...if you lied about your virginity, well that would be carzy and pointless... You don't have to lie about it... and it's okay that you're still a virgin...

I did not cause i`m still a virgin, but even if i`m not a virgin, i will be trueful abt it... I heard that a lot of boys take it to heart but i still tink being honest to each other is important, if that guy really cannt understand then it`s ok to break up... A lot of girls will lie about it, though. Why they think people -- especially the people who know them best -- can't tell they're lying is beyond me, because saying something too quickly, hesitating, and changes in tone, as well as body language often give someone away when they lie.

I've had girls tell me they wasn't when they was because they was embarassed about it, but as I've always told them when they come clean about lieing honesty is the better path since if your going to lie about something like that isn't it going to be hard to trust them if they say they trully love you or anything like that?
