One moment you're competing with each other, the next moment your opponents just
stop moving only to find out they've passed out in front of their computers.
For me, I'd go with drinking parties. I love to drink to the point where I get
wasted BUT that's not going to happen anymore and I still like to catch up with
people and talk with them face to face. Also to get away from the computer and
hang out with them while having a beer and playing pool or some party game.

both. especially when there's a halo 3 lan party or any kinda fps system lan. things get really crazy when there's angry screaming and drinking. =)
I used to run a LANshop and free beers for girls from 10pm to 2am! Woohooo!

Personally though i'd go for the full out gamer paradise party. LAN, Smash Brothers, Mario Kart... all sorts of other games.

I don't drink to get drunk, a high tolerance helps, so I tend to last the whole night. ^^
I've never been to a LAN party, but I guess it must be fun especially when it concerns computers. I don't drink so I go with LAN party.
