I don't think much of it....I mean, we all have our own things that we enjoy and different opinions (everyone is entitled to have an opinion) so who cares what people think. Just as long as you like it that's all that matters...right?

Depends on the person.
They are people who watch 5 animes in their entire lives, think their fans, and insult animes they never watched before.

Since comments are prolly personal opinions, varies from person to person. Though they are normally majorities

No big deal. My friends wattch romance anime, but i just give it a miss.

It probably depends on what their reasons are. If they've got a valid reason to dislike something, then that's fine. But if they're just being ignorant about it, I sometimes argue the point. It really annoys me when people insult things they don't know anything about. :/

actually when someone say something bad about ur anime, u have to reply with perfectness. When someone insults ur anime, u have to make that person the most miserable possible at the momment, u have to simply show how ur anime is better than anything that person likes, u have to literally own the person, even if will take hours to finish. Ur anime is ur honor, btw, NoPe, noone ever talked bad about my favorite animes.

And Yes, Those Naruto's style anime have to be called childish.

Well, I just feel sad for the accusing party. They just don't appreciate the stuff I enjoy.

Check the anime in question - it might have flaws that they've seen.

yeah my sisters would be making fun of all the stuff i'd be reading like, they'd say fruits basket is stupid and stuff or naruto's dumb and boring. it kinda discourages me for a while but then i ignore it after a while.

if it is an anime im a big fan of and someone insukts it, i defently defend it, but i don't get that insulted, if people don't like it...well thats bad for them.

I feel kinda pissed, caused there is no need to insult anything, i never say bad things about the stuff i don't like.

For every person who tells me that the anime I watch sucks or gives them no interest, I just tell them "aww well you're face is whatever! >]" Only to let them know that I am joking~

Ehm i think i would kill them... No just kidding. I think that all the ppl have the right t tell their opinion t others and have their own likings. But if some1 insulted my favorite anime in a very bad way i would insulted him so much that he would barely understand what was going on.

No problem, people are entitled to their opinions. People can say all sort of things about my anime...I just reserve the right to criticize their TV shows or movies.

pisses me off most of the time. I try proving to the person that it is an awesome anime but sometimes i try to ignore their comments.

Thia is a perfect subject. I'm a very sensitive person, so it hits me pretty hard. My main problem is that anime bashing leads to no episode downloads or blogging. Therefore, you get cut off from large scale fandom, since some of the things you wish to see can't be done by yourself for lack of talent and or resources. That's my main pain.

It really sucks when some takes a stab at anime, saying it's "childish" or whatever. But everyone is entitled to their opinion but I think it should be voiced appropriately. Just saying they hate it is disgraceful, unless it is accompanied by a valid reason.
