Does anyone know of any good paying jobs that requires you to know another
language?
I really want to have a job where I can travel and show off some language
skills, but it is really hard for me to find anything out there...So your help
would be really appreciated.
Well one that I can think of off the top of my head is doing language teaching
overseas. Most of them require a college degree and a good grasp on English, but
other than that you just need the willingness to accept being in another
society. You might not necessarily be showing off your other language skills on
the job, but you'll certainly have the opportunity to immerse yourself in
society. My first thought is teaching English in Japan using something like the
JET program. JET Program. It's
certainly a thought.
Other than that I'd think you'd probably have to deal with a corporation that
dealt with foreign investors, but one seems more accessible than the other.

well if you're interested in the hospital field then you can get a job as an
agenct nurse and use that skill, as well as another, to get more money and help
out the hospital by commuicating with the patient/other nurses...or work in the
hospital in general...it's another option to look at too I
did that for many years until I got into other fields of work
The diplomatic service is also a good possibility. If you don't mind the
political nature of diplomacy and are prepared to be moved from post to post
depending on who is in political control at "home", opportunities in
the diplomatic corps come fairly often (and pay well).
