((Never mind ^_^ I'm at where the rest are now... I'm glad Amaya is stupid in
this RP since I can just act like she's so stupid that she went to the place
with people who wanted to capture her... ))
Adelheida: But sir it's you who I was looking for.
Krad: That's right.
Dark: Yes of course.
Adelheida: I want to help you guys fight.
Dark and Krad: That's right.
Kivan sighed as the old man shook his head once more. He had know what Geldar's
answer would be but he thought it had been worth a try at least. "I have
given you my reply. Now leave the square peacefully or be escorted."
Geldar's short beard, as white as the hair on his head, bristled in frustration
his hard gaze leaving no room to miss interpret his last words. Turning back to
the table. "Rookwood please continue with the latest reconnaissance
reports."
The group around the table continued on, all ignoring Adel, Krad and Dark except
for the guards standing around the tents edge. Kivan stepped forward to point
out a number of strategic points, debating their importance with the other men
present. Many nodding in agreement or examining the maps thoughtfully. The
meeting continued as if the prior disturbance had been all but forgotten.
((Pantsmaster: Sorry... I should have dissapeared longer? Sorry.... I don't get
why when I'm acting I can't help but act really stupid... Sorry... I'll make me
and Amaya more dark? Sorry... ))
Adelheida: I will not go peacefully and I will not be escorted no dares of
putting a hand on me.
Krad: I will stand by Adelheida for always.
Dark: So will I.
Geldar looked up at the vampire queen with a look of spite.
"Excuse me,
Ragas saw the fire that was about to be started.
"Um..sir? What where you going to adress?"
Geldar took a long draged breath and continued on his way.
"If you ask me, the north west slums of the town, poorly guarded and
countless amounts of lower class people seem to be the idea hunting ground for
hit and runs on city folk. With these small ,fast killings, it will spread panic
and start to hinder our forces. That is why we now gather. On the west side of
the city, a gate sits under a bridge that leads to the sewers. The group that
the king hired 11 years ago used that path. After weaving through the sewers,
there should be a strait entrance to the Underdark. They might use this route to
launch an attack, but its narrow halls are to slim and they would have to go
single file or in two's. My bet is they plan to attack the south harbor. The
largest and most important harbor to our kingdom. There are many large grates
that lead to the sewers, that also lead to the docks. If these parts of the
sewers are taken, then we might lose the entire port."
Random agreements and comments started to fill the tent.
"Why wait for them to come? We should go to Underdark and kill the monsters
ourselves!"
"Are you crazy? Going dow their is like having a death wish!"
"Maybe we should half the army? Send one half down to kill and the other
half to stay and guard."
"That is even more crazy! If we split the main force, both halfs will be
too weak to do their jobs! The army sent to go to the Underdark will be over
thrown and then the sewer grates in the south ports will be over
run!"
"We must flee! That is our only choice if we wish to live!"
"I like apple pies."
"Be quite! You sound as smart as a brick."
"I think we should send most of the army to the sewers and block off any
route to the Underdark."
"No, no. That means we would have to hire a construction team brave enough
to go down their and fill holes while they stand in enemy ground. And I doubt
any thing we build down their will stand unless we have an entire army to guard
it!"
Chaos spread like wild fire. Ragas just shook his head as the nobles and
officers raged out of control.
Adelheida: I knew most people will look at me with a spiteful look since I am
the vampire queen.
Krad: You will fight the Underdark, Adelheida, like you always have in the past
and you always win.
Adelheida: Of course I have.
Dark: You are always against the Underdark cause they taken your beloved king
away from you.
Adelheida: So true.
Krad: And before that your beloved human boyfriend.
Aric: We send a small but elite team of about 20 to scout ahead. As soon as they
see something they run back to the main army which will take what ever the treat
is. And for defences we have block of all other ways. While having a few hundred
men ready to take them out if them break through the blockaid.
Kivan looked over the map, examining points near the docks and other smaller
sewer entrances. Considering the idea over and over again. "You know, with
a few adjustments. That just might work." His words could be heard by all
in the silence filled tent. The other men started looking over the maps,
nodding, talking, thinking. Above all, Geldar nodded and with a last bemused
look at Aric, returned to planning at the table.
"There is only a slight problem. You got heart and brains kid, but we have
a few thinks to look at. One, there are about, 50 places one can enter the
sewers that is wide enough to shove attack waves down. the rest are more small
one-man entrance ways. This means that even if we cover any route, there is
still a chance that they could come up through a man hole or what not.
Two, now a group of 20 scouts is a good idea, but the minions of Underdark exel
at sneak attacks and ambushing, even more so in their own turf where no light
shines, there is a chance tha tthe scouts will die before they can get word. You
do have the good idea off blocking off all the other entraces we know about, but
we would have to have a large number of guards at each to check.
Adelheida: Why is everyone just ignoring us?
Krad: I do not know.
Dark: I wish they will listen to us because you are the Special Assassin that
takes on Underdark.
Adelheida: I killed 500 of them already.
Krad: I know.
Dark: So do I.
Geldar gave very little attention to the group of diffrent vampires/angles at
the back.
"It matters not how many you kill, there froces never end. Not as long as
Xantam draws breath. For every one you kill, it will only rally more to his side
and the corpses of the killed are reanimated into undead fodder."
Ragas had growned tired of the meeting and almsot lost grip and fell alseep on
the spot. He tried to keep himself awake but his night-time patrol had taken a
toll on him.
Adelheida: Let me join the battle then it's time for me to take a stand and show
you how strong I am.
Krad: Friends will help to win the fight.
Dark: Underdark struggle for control.
Adelheida: Krad and Dark are right the only way to win is to risk it all.
"Risk it all? That sounds like something a minion of Underdark would tell
us to do!"
Geldar shook his head.
"And if we vented them through the pipes, I doubt our numbers could hold
our ground. Even if we did form a line, a single mage from the Underdark could
cast a spell that would smash into our lines and only hi more
troops."
The debate seemed to go on forver, every new idea lead to a quirk or to a error.
Adelheida: No it's not what the Underdark would say it's what friends would say
to win the duel or battles just to make their friends to work a lot harder than
usual.
Dark: Adelheida is right.
Krad: Adelheida is always right.
An idea lit up in Kivan's mind and he quickly hushed everyone. "They expect
a large scale military action against them, so we give them what they
want." Incredulous looks spread over the mens faces. "But." He
paused, considering his plan once more. "We can't win that way so we
won't." Again the men looked at him with confusion some even anger.
"Blast it man, stop speaking in riddles and get to the point." Kivan
smiled and pointed out the few places no one had thought of. "The underdark
are over confidant and everyone knows that. They already had a counter strategy
set out for any of our plans and in everyone we are crushed by their shadow.
That's what we must remove in order to win or atleast hold them
back."
Kivan began to point out large drains and other places that even the underdark's
minions can't access the surface from. "These places are dangerous and
can't be climbed but things can be dropped down from them and that's what we'll
do. Each drain is situated above large underground chambers or passageways,
places where we would be trying to fight in." Geldar smiled and nodded for
Kivan to continue. "We can drop light stones down these drains, the golden
sunbursts from Sky Tower. We can have our mages conceal their magic and
illusionists to conceal their presence from the underdark. Then when we move
down into their first line of defence we reveal our hidden traps and their
strength becomes non existant."
Geldar broke out into a deep chuckle. "It's underhanded, sneaky and the one
way those fiends wouldn't expect us to fight. The sunbursts from Sky Tower grow
stronger when the darkness presseures it and the one place that they would blaze
like the sun would be their subterreinean homes." Kivan smiled as the
officers cheered and he motioned for quiet. "Also there's one thing not
many people know about, the sunbursts give courage and strength to those who
bathe in it's light and weaken those who are evil. To use these stones in battle
has never been considered because its power would benefit both sides."
Kivan stepped back to let the men plan out their new battle strategy.
Geldar approached him, standing next to him and watching his officers eagerly
plot against the underdark. "You said, or atleast hold them back. What
for?" Kivan smiled at his old friend. "As you said we have to kill
Xantam in order to have any chance at a complete victory. "We should send
in a special team of our finest fighters and mages while they're
distracted." The old man nodded. "Walk in their back door and hit
their heart... Find your team Kivan." As the man walked back into the crowd
Kivan sat down on a crate and glanced at the far wall of the tent thoughtfully.
((Oh sorry, forgot about the random chruch.))
((Never mind ^_^ I'm at where the rest are now... I'm glad Amaya is stupid in this RP since I can just act like she's so stupid that she went to the place with people who wanted to capture her...

((Um...She is like that in every rp. Ever single rp. Every rp your Amaya, who does things that define the laws of physicis. ANd other such things.))
Adelheida: But sir it's you who I was looking for.

"I have an idea sir"
Adelheida: I knew most people will look at me with a spiteful look since I am the vampire queen.

The voices almost drowned out the sound of Aric. Geldar was the only one who caught sight of his mouth moving.
"QUUUUUUUUIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
With his crazed echo, all became quite in the tent.
"Now, new one, tell us your idea."
Adelheida: No one tells me to be quiet.
Aric: We send a small but elite team of about 20 to scout ahead. As soon as they see something they run back to the main army which will take what ever the treat is. Aric: It could slowly break there army.
*points at a sewer on the left of the map.*
Aric: This should be the place!
Geldar nodded his head.
"There is only a slight problem. You got heart and brains kid, but we have a few thinks to look at.
