In my view, God is a different existence from us. He created the man and the woman as two beings which complement each other; one could not exist without the other, and the species would disappear. God is Divine; he is Whole, and therefore you cannot say he's male or female. That He chose to reveal Himself to man in a male form is another story.

Think about this... Did God create man because he wanted man to worship him or just to create something; or Did man create God so we have something to believe in?

Here lies the power of passed down traditions.

If the punishment will only come in the end then it wouldn't matter if I mock him now or at any time. The end means end so I would hardly feel a thing. Don't tell me I'm going to Hell, cause there's where I intend to go. ^_^

Laughing to death would be the funniest way to die, and other people around you will laugh to death, and those around will laugh to death, AND THE CHAIN CONTINUES (because they find it funny you laugh to death, ). Now thats one weird, torturous, and strangely entertaining way to die.

n i'll not laugh if u're going to hell bcoz i dont take any advantage for laughing at u if im right. n i am right, of course-im not doubting. for some people have heard the voice of God, such as Mother Theresa. n many of believers have been saved by God n we know how great is the power of God, but u dont know it bcoz u refused Him before u start to think. many people r the witnesses of God, n nonbelievers r the one that hasnt met God yet. i was a nonbeleiver like u too, n i thought that Bible was ridiculous. but now i've seen the truth. in this situation, u r the one who is blind.

for you information atheists don't believe in hell. and another thing if i'm going to hell i intend to overthrow Satan or atleast befriend him or something like that. you see only two beings are protecting me from danger because despite my attempts to die naturally or by accident i just cannot. it's either satan or god, so i'm going with the one who is most probably closer to reality. ^_^

no. something bad didn't happen. and it's a not refusal made from ego and pride either. i'd rather call it an expansion of the mind and opening new doors. if anything, it's curiosity that made me stop believing. pretty much all the "what ifs" that popped up. it's not like i go out to random strangers or go on a podium and say "god is dead. he doesn't exist and believers are just trying to put you under their control." i'm just thinking of possibilities. if god intended to make me the person i am, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with that is there? and what if you're wrong about hell? what if it has absolutely nothing to do fire? what if it's like dante's inferno? segmented by the sin you've committed? there is absolutely no way that you, yourself, know what the actual hell would be like. you can go on believing in your own and others' fantasies. i'd rather believe what i've seen for myself. unless god himself shows up in front of me and takes me there, i'd rather go with my own preference.

This is sort of a goofy thread but I don't think that God has a gender. You can't base his gender on the Bible because back when the Bible was composed by men it was their belief that only men could accomplish meaningful things. The only thing a woman was good for was to give birth. And if you look at it that way giving birth is closer to godlyness than anything a man has accomplished so far.
Anyways I think that God is both man and woman or something completely different.
