This might be that new feature (that's in beta) where people can download
certain stock images and wallpaper without needing to use credits, download
quota, or signing up. They won't be able to see it at the highest resolution
though
yes probably it's the new feature..but I still have to agree with Kagally..it's
not fair..since we have to signed up..and then after a few months..it's
available without signing up..
I am not saying that I signed up for the wallpapers..but it's still not fair..
Well, actually they aren't downloading any image...they are just enlarging it.
As JetKrazy said, they won't see it at the real resolution.
Still don't know why Minitokyo added this new feature...and it's surely unfair,
of course.
Don't know that I'd say unfair so to say. It's kind of like those people at
something like Sam's Club that hands out little sausages on a stick. You give it
a try and you like it, so you buy a box to take home. So you get casual
passerbys to take a nibble and then they join up if they like. A lot of people
out there aren't too privy to making accounts at every website to get the goods.
So you interest them first and then hook em in with the "real
resolution" thing.
It may seem unfair to you, but it just makes practical business sense for the
owner of the site. The more eyeballs that fall onto it, the more advertising
dollars they can accrue. That my friends is called Capitalism.
Maybe my account is just buggy, but the "enlarged" seem only slightly
smaller than the fullsized images. Sure, you don't get the "full"
image, but it's close enough that I doubt it will encourage anyone to sign up to
get the true resolution.
We already have 5 free credits a day, and adding the "enlarge" action
seems more than a little unnecessary. Maybe if it were more of a middle ground
between the thumbnail and the true resolution, but I haven't noticed this to be
the case.
OMG!
What happened?
Why I can't see images in it's real size EVEN LOGGED ON THE SITE?
I only see a small-size image and to see in real size I need to "click on
download button". But, there is no one download button... (when I click on
image to download on full-size, the smaller one appears.)

The
"Download" link is on the left menu of the page.

I told my friend to visit Minitokyo..and she did..
Yesterday she told me that she was able to download wallpapers without signing up?
Is that legal in Minitokyo now?
I am just wondering..why is this allowed ?
Is it a new feature of Minitokyo or just a bug ?
