Story
It's going to be based on the anime Samurai Shamploo, during the Edo period in
Japan. Basically it's going to have a freestyle feel to it, just like the anime.
With the new Tokugawa Shogunate samurai are being given a number of choices,
give up their sword and become peasants, move to the city of their feudal lord
and become a paid retainer, join the military and renounce their status as a
samurai or join a clan that has approval of the government.
Although Japan is changing alot of samurai are persisting with their ways of
life and are being frowned upon by the government. Situations where the people
have risen up against their corrupt Lords are being blamed upon the ronin and
roaming samurai.
Members of the government have begun hiring mercenaries, assasins, and
ex-samurai who conformed under Feudal Lords and military leaders to hunt the
ronin and rogues. Inspite of not being the cause of trouble and some being
heroes of the people, they're becoming a hinderance in the government's opinion.
In the Rp you can chose to be a ronin, wanderer, mercenary, ex-samurai in the
military, a feudal lord's retainer, ninja, assasin. Any of these can take either
side in the conflict. The weapons will be any kind as long as it could be found
in Japan at that time. Basic firearms like muskets and arquebusiers can be used.
There's no magic.
Also there will be some historical background. Namely, groups, locations, in
general how Japan was during that time. And Cyg when you post here can you add
details about the groups you mentioned to me ^^'

10, her mother committed suicide after the death of her husband, her younger
brother died of a sickness, a geisha took her in as her daughter when she was
11, her fraternal twin sister, Asahi disappeared somewhere after the death of
both their parents

personality: she's talented, cold, somewhat sophisticated but shy. she's cold
and doesn't speak much especially when she's serious. Her negative trait is she
thinks too loud and she goofs around when no one's looking.
others: daughter by day, assassin by night . she lives in a shrine together with
a monk who treats her like his own child but he's not aware that Hatsumiyo is an
assassin since her job as an assassin starts at night when everybody's already
sleeping but who knows? Her parents were killed by an assassin hired by the
government and she witnessed that incident at the tender age of 4, hiding in the
cabinet where her mom keeps their futons. The assassin who killed her parents
burned their house just a little while after he killed Hatsumiyo's parents but
luckily, she escaped just before the fire devoured the house completely. later
on, she found out that they were assassinated because his dad didn't agree to
give the small piece of land his father inherited from his great grandparents.
they don't have debt, the government's just greedy *something like that*.
Because of that incident, she keeps a huge grudge to the government and aims for
revenge that's why she decided to become an assassin.
as for now, she is in charge of mantaining the cleanliness of the shrine and
other household chores for her so-called-father.
*i changed my mind. i forgot that the rp's setting is like in samurai champloo
and the miko at that time is like a priestess. it's the modern miko who performs
ceremonial dances and assists priests in wedding ceremonies*

Other: An experienced pirate and adventurer. Mugen forgot how to shoot airwaves
from his sword. However, he has perfected Sara's sensing abilities. He can now
give any opponent a really hard time.

Class: Exiled Warrior of the Korean Emporer, considered the best in Korea.
Weapon/s: Jingum this is where you can find a picture, looks almost exactly like

Appearance: Really dark brown hair, almost black. Eyes are hazel, they go from
brown to gold to green as they go out. Medium build. He looks like Yungsung from
SCII only different hair color.
Personality: Kind, somewhat seclusive, but speaks when it benefits him or his
friends, he also puts the life of others before himself
Other: He knows a type of Sah Do Mu Sool(more like Kuk Sool Won), Taekkyeon(sort
of an early Tae Kwon Do), and an ancient family sword art. He is a master of
speed, strength and agility, he can spot the weaknesses and strengths of men,
and can use them to his advantages. Haneul was put on trial for the massacre of
a small Korean village, but he has no recollation of it, only small portions of
that time. Whenever one of his friends get hurt he becomes cold
blooded.
Hyeung has finally settled down in Japan and has the language down pretty
firmly. After much work he was able to afford a nice house, he has been working
as a co-founder of a training school of the Korean martial arts in the city of
Edo. In Korea an investigation is still going on to bring him back from exile.
