It goes without saying that Starr's KH layout rox. It's beautiful, the code was written extremely well and it's been pleasing to the eye for a quite a while. I think it's time to do something new for a couple reasons.

1: the new ad banner size is blocking Sora's face.
2: it's too dark for summer time.
3: I'm really wanting to make a layout.

Okay, I'm going to have a poll about series to use for the layout! I'm going to offer some popular series, but if you have a different idea, post it in this thread. If you have a scan idea, post a link in the thread.

Yeah, something bright and summery =D ... as for artist/series, Kunie Kanbara? (yeah yeah I'm just a Kunie fan )... But I'd like to see something random and not from a popular series (I dunno, they're just too overdone DX )... oh I know, something in the style of that banner for the summer contest

I like Maple's ideas! Also, an obscure, yet good series that might work would be Haibane Renmai! Really nice art, I think. ^^

I totally agree with Maple. Something bright and summery would be fantastic and I would totally go with Yotsubato. OR something with a funky graphic design like... idk... SoulEater (great bgs)

Bleach is better for me and because for summer style, i suggest to placing summer object too like watermelon, ice-cream, etc. Also improve CSS coding for all layout and using bright color.

I'm going to say I think it would be better to go with something that doesn't obviously reflect one series. We like to receive submissions from everything, so narrowing the background down to a popular series like that doesn't seem like it reflects the group itself. But that's just my two cents.

Honestly, I really adore the current layout, you're right when you said it rox, and I'm not even a KH fan. But I know it's been around for a long time...
I agree I don't really want Code Geass or something (it's done WAY too much...); I like the style now with the dark background colour and bright text, it looks like a starry night. Maybe not a series but an artist like Suzuhira Hiro or anything...
