i have a book full of this type of art, so i was wondering if it'd be accepted in the gallery if i submitted it, as it's not really anime...
I'd have to say no since it doesn't have anything to do with anime/manga. It doesn't appear to be asian related either or at the least done by an asian artist.

Even though it can't be uploaded to the regular gallery, you are more then welcome to post them in the Anime Picture Dump.
