... Angels aren't what you think they are...

the plot:
After foreseeing the coming of the great war that will soon destroy earth and heaven, which is called "Armageddon: the final battle", God has sent his primary strike angels called "Sephiroths". under the leadership of Michael the Archangel, he ordered his Sephiroths to destroy all possible threats and causes of exodus of the fallen angels (more commonly known as demons).

The investigation of Sephiroths has led them to a certain race of angels called Nephilims, the race of angels that are forbidden to exist for Nephilims are half-angels, half-humans. they are forbidden because of colliding natures that they have, and angels are trying to avoid having human nature stain the purity of angels. Thus, heaven has made a rule that Humans and Angels aren't supposed to love each other.

Races of angels:

Sephiroths (AKA Angels of Death): they are the primary strike force of Heaven, comparable to Marines and SWAT combined. their primary job is to send righteous punishment for those who have sinned. however, this mission is special. the Sephiroths are now ordered to look for Nephilims and eliminate them once found, also, destroy fallen angels in case they see one on earth.

Qliphoths: they are the gatekeepers of hell. they are held responsible for keeping the fallen angels from escaping hell. among all angels, Qliphoths are the most heavily armed because of the nature of their job.

Nephilims: they are half-angel, half-humans. their mere existence is a sin for most of heaven because of the colliding natures they bear. it is believed that Nephilims have the potential to unleash fallen angels from hell because of their power as angels and their susceptibility to temptations because of the human part in them.

Guardian Angels: they are sent from heaven to primarily watch over a certain human and making it sure that the human they're watching over will do what they are ordered to do. among all angels, Guardian Angels resemble humans most. in a recent investigation conducted by Sephiroths, Guardian angels are the most probable reason of the existence of Nephilims. Sephiroths are ordered to let Guardian Angels must be held in temporary custody and undergo tactical interrogation when found.

Soul Reapers (AKA Shinigami): their primary objective is to guide souls towards Purgatorio while the judgement for souls have not been made, whether they go to heaven or hell. also, Soul Reapers prevent humans from untimely death and demon attacks.

Fallen Angels (AKA Demons): they are angels that have been stripped off their ranks and sent to hell to be imprisoned and take their punishment. but recently, some Fallen Angels have escaped hell and are now on earth for their personal purpose..

NOTE: though these are their differences, they have something in common like their ability to hide their wings when not needed, having brilliance aura (except fallen angels. brilliance aura is the light that engulfs the angel. Guardian Angels can hide their aura.)and resistance against temptations.

Ikusen Jinsoku Shurai - a set of 1000 continuous slashes at a lightning-fast succession at the enemy.
Hachi Dageki: Dairendan - Jeanne's version of Cloud Strife's "Omnislash". makes a combo of 8 consecutive slashes at the enemy from random positions. then slashes the enemy from above..
flaws: she has a very low stamina, ceasing her to maximize her skills.

Cain Vorgaas - An infernal sword forged in the fires of hell. He hides it in his robe and draws it from his palm. The double blade gives-off both great heat and great cold. Its icy blade can stop souls in its tracks whilst its burning aura can incinerate the skin of mortals.

abilities: Chains of Fate - He can summon burning chains from his body. The tips of the chains are sharp crucifixes.
Requiem of Saints (W/ Cain Vorgaas) - His chains become shadows, multiply and attack wildly around him. His wings appears and sheds its feathers revealing demon wings. He becomes a berserker and slashes all that he sees. Devastating attack that can cause casualties to all that are near him.
Requiem of Sinners (W/ Deva Ronquerth) - He splits his scythe into two, Deva Noctis and Deva Diei. He then disappears into the shadows and begins slashing at anyone. However the blades of his scythes are visible. A blind attack whenever done casualties are inevitable.

flaws: Wild and out of control, he often cannot see who he attacks. Has poor eyesight and thus is easily blinded by bright light. Virtually slows down during sunny days.

personality: Cold hearted and unforgiving he is an angel dwelling in death. He doesn't show passion for humans but will kill angels who dare to interfere with a soul's deliverance.

appearance: This is how he should look like except he has a face with red eyes and long black hair. He also carries a crescent scythe instead of a claymore.

others: He was supposed to be a Sephiroth but due to his rebellious trait he decided not to be part of it. He shows signs of being a Fallen.

Uriel: The Intel from the reconnaissance unit just came in. Several Guardian Angels have been suspected to be the reason of the existence of Nephilims. according to them, some of them made "contact" with their human counterparts. your mission is to subject guardian angels into temporary custody for tactical interrogation. also, find Nephilims and destroy them once found. any questions?

*jeanne raises her hand*

Jeanne: what if Nephilims haven't reached the age of 18? it will be hard to find Nephilims if they're underaged.

Uriel: you'll be receiving guidance orbs tomorrow before you depart for earth. the orbs will glow a green light once they detect nearby Nephilims. also, make contacts with Soul Reapers. there had been reports that some fallen angels escaped hell and reached earth. Soul Reapers have been in-and-out earth and will be a big help in giving essential informations. once a Fallen Angel is seen, use any necessary force to destroy the fallen. if there are no more further questions, then, I'll meet you by the gates of heaven by 1600hrs. you're dismissed.

Kariarena walks in and saw Uriel.

Kariarena: Hey Uriel hey hi so you need me to do something I could help since I am a Sephiroth.

(This is way out of line but guessjeans, you can't just walk in like that after being called for a special briefing. I mean wth? And duh? Uriel is a high rank officer he already knows you're a Sephiroth.)

*Meanwhile on Earth, Azuriel observes the humans.

Azuriel: The number of Nephilims is surely growing. This would be a problem for me.

He then sees a demon lurking in the shadows near a human home. Someone goes out. A little girl went out to buy some candy. The demon sees an opportunity and stalks her.

Azuriel: And where do you think you're going? (Sends out burning chains and entangles the demon.) You do realize that once you see my face you can no longer return to Hell... Chains of Fate... (The crucifixes then thrust into the demon and burns into ashes.

Kariarena walks out and tries stands outside the door.

Kariarena: I guess I'm not wanted until a Nephilim shows up.

He changed his appearance to be more human and did acts of repentance for his sin whilst human. He became known as an exorcist and demon hunter in the human world.

My first comment will be, I'm very against this RP because I'm a sinner myself and an angel hunting me down would be so wrong because God himself has set me free. My second comment is, If your going to make an rp about angels and demons please read your bible.

This is the chat forums for fun, take your religious ideals to the religious forum boards. If God is so great, he wouldn't be insulted by trivial fun.

Firstly the sinners aren't hunted down. Only Nephilims are. a cross-breed of angel and human which basically is an abomination and taboo. Second, the Bible names only three angels namely Raphael, Michael and Gabriel. This makes the Bible not much of a source.

I am also religious but I read the manga called Wish so I think this is be ok if we don't go to any details.
