So two days ago I uploaded my vector of Matt, but it got deleted. Though I'm
slightly disappointed, I'm not complaining, I knew it was against the rules. I
was just hoping it would slide past them since I spent so much time working on
it.

Sometimes I think we need more consitency here on MT, I'm often puzzled
considering that some stuff get's deleted and some other stuff doesn't.
I know but I've been wondering for a while why this vector wasn't deleted,
it's obviously not anime or asia related (it's even highlighted). I assumed
because it's vector art but obviously that's wrong?
Hello! Thanks for the support, but it won't be coming back to the gallery. Since
this isn't an isolated case, there was some discussion a while ago about where
to draw the line for western art. Ultimately, while using western-style stock
images are okay as long as there were some drastic changes made, an actual
specific person/character isn't. And that's why it was deleted.

Non-anime artwork isn't allowed on MT, apparently.

And actually, the MT Policy on vectors says nothing on non-anime artwork. Only the doujinshi and anime wallpaper ones.
