Just curious, was wondering if anybody completed on legendary difficulty. Myself I still haven't completed the game yet. hehe still stuck at normal difficulty.

Nope, not yet, i just finished it on normal though, cant wait until i finish it on legendary.

I don't own the game, but I know some who does and beat it, wether it was on legendary or not, I dunno, I'd have to ask.

Nope, legendary is so much harder than the other modes. Heroic seems so easy compared to legendary. I run out of ammo and the Elites kill me easily with their dual plasma rifles. Co-op is hard too, because both players have to survive.

My friend...he beat lengendary the day after he got Halo 2. He's really
good but he just has too much time. It's not fair...

I'm a wuss! I'm still working my way through on Easy just so that I get a taste for the game and a feel for it. Then I can work my way up through the different skill levels. I just really hate The Flood. They creep me out.

Both me and my friend have been working our way up from easy to Legendary.... and let me tell you that the accuracy of the enemies is insane. Nothing should be that accurate with a weapon, its insane. Though I myself love the challenge.... just means it'll take us alot longer to beat it, but it will be beaten.. Though yes, now THIS is a challenge. I love a game that actually makes a difficulity that is extremely difficult, yet its not impossible. Thats what I'm talkin' about!

So very true, beaten it easily? I dunno.....No offense but I kinda doubt that... Unless your Fatality.....like the best FPS player in the states (thats known...alot of great players are out there....lots of them) though I must say to call it that easily.......I dunno man. Even giving you the benefit of the doubt still you make it sound like you were playing on Easy. I'm sorry but unless you have proof or felt at least somewhat challenged I couldn't ever believe a statement like this.

i definitely agree withcirrus on this one, i found the first game to be far more challenging than this game, i beat it the first week, and i know people who beat it in one night on legendary. believe me or not it's up to you, but i found this game to be pretty easy (no offense to those who found it difficult)

Halo 1 and 2 cannot be compare because then aren't create by the same people. I can belive there have people beat already the legendary mod but what then do each day play video game. Hmmm real life for someone? Play video game all day, no work, no school.. just stay home have less friend and don't see the light of outside. About mself, seriouly I found the legendary mod of Halo much easier then the second one. I hate play on it on coop because if one of us fall you restart to the last checkpoint. Right now I try to complet heroic mod

I just enjoy the games on easy or normal. To beat it on legendary you must have a good idea of where each enemy is on the map, which involves many hours of playtime. Besides, a quality FPS like Halo 2 is all about the multiplayer!

The hell are you talking about...Bungie made the first and second games..... they'll be making the third one too.... I really don't know what your talking about.

In a day? Hmmm Well if you have no life and devote yourself to FPS's then I would agree.

I feel like I'm the only person here that found the first Halo's Legendary to be easier than the second....meh. Oh well.

ex. as soon as the snipers see you ----that's it--it's over
even if you're just peeking around the corner

Yeah...the snipers are so good...but thank god they miss, even in legendary...it's happened to me before...

I've beaten eight levels in legendary co-op...it's not THAT hard co-op...it's so much harder solo...

In some places, in solo, you're all alone with no help. However, in co-op, you're gonna be at least always with the other human player aiding you...

Halo's Legendary mode is a joke compared to this one. I think teh only level in Halo that could match Halo 2's difficulty is teh beginning of the library. or was it 343 guilty spark.....@_@.....i forgot. Anyway it was teh level with like 500 flood warriors n carriers run at u at the same time and u were only equipped wit teh rifle and a pistol. But the shotguns those flood thingy carries r rather helpful

The accuracy of the elites which have plasma rifles in Legendary mode of Halo and Halo 2 is....pretty much teh same. 3 shots ur dead haha. U take a lil peak and they still see u.

Anyway....in Halo 2.....teh covenants throw a lot more sticky nades . But thats fine.
Once u get passed the 1st level in Halo 2. Everything else becomes a lot easier.

Heres a tip. double wielding against elites is absolutely Useless. If u wanna get past teh first level......I recommend having plasma pistol and a rifle. One charged shot..... and a quick 3 round burst to the head kills them rather quick

Double wielding 2 needlers against brutes is rather helpful
The needlers also works well against floods. They blow up the flood warriors so they dont regenerate when those little icky bastards go back inside em

and heres another tip.......if u have a rocket launcher a warthog, and 2 marines....give teh rocket launcher to the marine sitting in the front seat......... ITS SOO fakkin FUN its unbelievable @_@......u do more damage than a tank

now if u have 4 marines.....4 rocket launchers and a tank..........well give em all rocket launchers

or if u have teh spectre......give teh covenant guys sitting in both ends lasers ....or rockets launchers and watch teh fireworks >=D

*in Halo.......having a sniper in teh front seat of teh warthog was hard to do, but.....he never misses*

o and in teh mission when ur in earth..wit a lot of covenant snipers.....u can jump from roof to roof.......its soo fun

and to answer teh question......I also beat it in Legendary.......it only gets a lot easier and more fun after u beat it teh first time .

and well if ppl think Halo 1's Legendary setting was a lot harder than this one... kindly explain? @_@
i mean.....theres like 5 more times teh elites, theres teh 1 shot kill covenant snipers, teh human vehicles actually blow up tis time, theres more elites with swords(hell even teh flood carries that freakin sword), those little flood things actually inflict a lot more damage, teh flood has fakkin shields, theres bosses, ur grenades dont kill anybody unless u stick em, and it takes 2 fakkin rockets to kill a freakin ghost, ur freakin bullets does less damage than ur alies and ur shield is a downgraded to crap by 3 freakin shots. Theres actually a lot more stuff......but i wont go that much deeper @_@

anyway.....I only own 2 games for my xbox.....and that is Halo.....and Halo2.....lol
so......well...........I know teh difference haha

but if some of u guys think teh legendary mode in halo 1 is a lot harder than legendary mode in halo 2.....well I guess thats just u. lol.......or maybe u forgot to put teh setting to Legendary

oh and after beating it in Legendary.....do all teh missions again.....without letting ur alies die.......its rather fun >=d

i beat it on heroic but i tried legendary and ended up dying a whole mess of times. The only bad part of the game was the lame ending
