My friends and I have been debating this for a while now:
Who would win in a fight between a boatful of pirates and a boatful of
Ninjas?
Some things to consider:
They both have equal numbers
They are not using cannons
This battle IS taking place on water (in boats)
Each group has an array of their respective weapons (ninjas have shurikens,
smoke bombs, katanas, throwing knives , etc and Pirates
have broad swords, clubs, rifles, pistols, parrots, etc)
I say ninja..
they are supposed to have very fast movements.. faster than pirates and probably
can dodge their rifle shots swiftly~
then just throw the shurikens at the pirates who are then vulnerable trying to
reload their rifles =p
the boat of the ninjas will defnitly sink first because the pirates are way
better in naval combat!
but the ninjas will use their ninja-powers to speed over the water to the
pirates boat and will quicklly assasin the pirates! (look a new boat yay!)
if the ninjas doesnt sink the pirate boat first they would be in serious trouble
if they are spotted.
First pirate strategy: get away from the ninjas and just shoot and shoot their
rifles untill there are just a few left and then strike a final blow.
Second pirate strategy: shot and shoot untill they come aboard, after that face
them with melee and still shooting from above, ropes and all.
Thirth pirate strategy: send the melee infantry onto the ninjas boat and repeat
strategy 1
Its obvious, even if we all prefer ninjas, that having familiarity with naval
combat, and the rifles are a tremendous advantage, the only chance ninjas would
have is to sneak the pirates, under a heavy fog or rain, and hope they wont be
able to use their guns, otherwise theyre fried.
If you consider the skills available to ninja beeing such used by those from
Naruto (yeah!) then ninja would win.
Pirates beeing mere simplistic humans.
On the same hand (:P) if ninjas dont have such special skills as genjutsu or
ninjutsu.... ie. no magic they would probably also win xD because they will
surely make an attack in the night. when everyone is asleep
I think the ninjas would win.. Deffo.. They've got secret skills and the ability
to move in the shadows. They'd outsmart the pirates! Yarr ;(
go NINJAS!

I'd say the ninjas would win. Just thinking about the typical pirate stereotypes:
1) wooden leg (can't move as fast)
2) hook for a hand
3) eye-patch (reduced visability)
Okay i'm basing this on an imaginary battle between Captain Hook from Peter Pan and the Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden
id have to say ninjas nothing beats ninjas in battle

I'd say the ninjas. But if there were ninja pirates then they would easily beat the regular ninjas and pirates.
The purpose of the ninja is to flip out and kill people, of course they'll win.

2. They were born to kill

Ninjas have throwing stars though. Using their leet ninja skillz, they could slice the bullets out of the air.

Ahhhh! The Ninja Vs. Pirates battle. Why do people have it there is no doubt that ninjas would win. I don't understand why people would say pirates!!!
