I'm in the mood to collect a LONG action anime series on DVD.....which one do you recommend. These are the two that have my interest at the moment. I've only seen bits of pieces of each and they seem to be what I'm lookin for while I'm waitin for my FMA DVD's

I would definately go with Inu Yasha, its longer and more interesting then Yu Yu Hakusho.

Its a very good anime series. . . but its your money so yeh.

InuYasha is the best (Inuyasha - kakkoi! :3 ). InuYasha is bettrr than YuYu Hakusho.

I agree with the people above, Inuyasha is way better than Yuyu Hakusho starting on animation quality and ending on the plot...

Crap i'm going to be killed since i like Yu Yu Hakusho better since i have been missing ALOT of Inu Yasha.

<lol> I've never seen Yu Yu Hakusho before. And what I've seen of Inu Yasha hasn't been so crash hot (imo.. then again, i prefer series like hikaru no go ), but the characters are cooll enough (sesshomaru and miroku being my favs ) and my sisters love it.

Inuyasha all the way. personally i think its a better series and the movies for IY are pretty good. Movie 3 was wikid.

Personally, I'd go with Yu Yu Hakusho. I never really got into Inuyasha.

i can't believe it! Inuyasha is such a loong on-going series. And it's like an eternal loop of annoying inconsistencies in the dub. Then again, if you're collecting the subbed then I guess that's good too. But I still suggest Yu Yu Hakusho. I admit, the animation can be waaay choppy at times, it resembles Dragon Ball Z in more than one occasion but it's a good show and has won, and is still winning, fans for a decade. I say Yu Yu all the way.

yu yu hakusho...inu yasha is not a good anime at all..it bores me to death!! besides..evryone talks about how awesome iun yahsha is too many inu fans..yu yu all the way!!!

I heard that with Inuyasha you could watch the first 25 eps and then skip to the last couple and you wouldn't miss anything. I like Yu Yu Hakusho better

the story is good although it takes too long to end

i like yu yu hakusho better than inuyasha, it may not be better in terms of the artwork but it's packed with fighting scenes, inuyasha can get quite boring at times when all they do is chit-chat
