You have my condolences. I almost had to go through the same thing. We've
switching internet companies on Friday Night. So I'll have a day with no MT.
But I couldn't handle a month with out it.
Yeah, no internet sucks. Luckly, the school supplies it. Even better, I get
the week off for my hurt foot (hurt it at the dealership I work at) so I'll
probably spend much of this week online on this and other pages doing nothing,
and going to my classes, which are all in the morning all week for some stupid
reason...It's like high school all over again.

Occasionally, I have to go without the internet because I'm using a wireless
connection at my university and it can be a little unstable at times. It can
also be uber fast and it's free, so I don't complain that much ^^ .
Try some video or computer games. For comp games, you know those
"campaigns" that people occasionally talk about? You know, the things
that you don't ever play? Yea, give those guys a try
i dunno, i lived without internet at home for many years, using it only at
school
then i started working, bought my computer and payed for the internet (i'm
sad!)
and i know how it feels when you want to use it, since it becoms a part of your
life, you chat with your net and close friends...
you know what's worse than not being able to be on the internet, not wanting to
be on, it happened to me once... it felt weird

longest I went was from 7/12/2001-(a little later than)12/21/2001, but there
were uh...ohter things that made that time bad...but more rencently about two
weeks since or computer was being fixed.
but now I can't use photoshop and that's 7/8 as bad as no internet XO
I just lost the internet because i had a virus and had to have it taken away for
four days. But I had fun doing other things so it wasnt that big of a deal ^^
but yes ive had it taken away for a month before. that really sucks for me. its

No offence but you people really need to find other hobbies. It seems to me that
you people are obsessed with the internet, and its really rather sad. Oh sure
its a drag your internet is lost, but maybe finding another hobbie, that doesn't
involve internet, will make your pain less unbareable.
When my internet is out, I do alot of drawing, work out, hang with friends ( ...
and somtimes play on their internet ),
play some video games, watch some movies, read books and mangas, kill peop-....
heh... forget that part. But it helps to have other hobbies.
Eh, my PC was broken for like over 6 months once. It was hard. Though sometime
this week, I'm planning to cancel the net for over a month. At least one month,
hopefully longer. I have no life outside the net, but hopefully I'll be able to
try to get one. It'll be hard, yeah. But I'm actually forcing myself AWAY from
the net. :P Need a break to get over something/someone. =/
i agree with jotaku on this. If you don't have internet, then do something
else. i mean, wallowing in self pity is kinda unavoidable, but it's better if
you have something to do to kill time. Most of the time when my internet gets
killed, i actually get my homework done ...you actually have a much better social life if you don't sit in front of
the computer all day with the internet, you get to do group stuff with people
outside and hang out together without the possibility of making your retinas die
off.

sorri to hear that. =__= you can always hoop to your friends place *until he/she
kicks you out*. lol. xd
i had experience something like that before, for two - three weeks with no
internet and it was a plain for awhile and then I just draw... and hit the books
and study.... lol....
try going to the gym...or even doing chores...or something else. There is more
to life than just internet. Sitting infront of a computer all day is bad for
you anyways.

I wouldnt be that affected i went 2 weeks of survival when hurricane ivan hit. I felt closer to my family after that time period.

I would have serious withdraw symptom if I lose access to internet.
