What are your grandparents like?
Do you like them?
my first grandmother I didn't know very well; she died a few months ago.
My other grandmother is a few sandwiches short of a picnic basket.
(But in a nice way) She saves every thing! She has a walk in cupbord full of
plastic bags, news papers from th 50s, ect, ect..........
Grandfather A died before I was born so I don't know what he was like......
Grandfather B Was awsome. ^_^
He was the nicest person I've ever met; he died a few years ago
- my paternal grandmother "grandma" was a tough woman that loved her
kids and grandkids and always loved seing them happy and smiling... tho she
always made me eat my veggies
- i never my paternal grandfather, but i was told he was a fun and interesting
man XP
- my materna grandmother "nana" is a very stern but loving woman, she
gets excited about stuff quickly but she's still pretty cool (when she isnt
angry about one of her grandkids being rude XP)
- my maternal grandfather "tata" was a very kick-ass and cool guy,
always taking us on rides on his old truck and cracking a joke whenever he
could, i really miss him
you can learn a lot from your elders

From my father's side - both of them have passed away a few years ago.
From my mother's side - both of them are still here with me.
Anyway, both sides are/were firm believers in 'tough love' parenting methods.
Shaped both my parents and then my parents instilled the same set of disciplines
in me. My grandparents (from both sides) also had a hand in my upbringing and
did on many occasions gave me good spanking (within limits, of course) when I
went "evil". :p
i believe I wouldn't have gotten where I am now had they not instilled the
positive values in me by their tough parenting style many thought today as
callous/barbaric/etc. Screw all those sissy modern child psychology! If a child
goes 'evil', spank them. I highly recommend it.
My mom's side:
Grandpa, he past away when I was 10 (er, forgot when was I). Well, I kinda
didn't know him. Cuz we live far apart. So, I don't know how he's like (his
attitude).
Grandma, hmm, sorry, I don't know her age. ^^' She still lives. She's nice too.
But, again, I know her a few only.
My dad's side:
Grandpa, I guess he past away. Cuz I didn't saw him around when I was little.
And I don't know how he looks like either. Cuz I don't see his pictures
anywhere.
Grandma, she still lives. All I can say is that she's tough. She can be a little
bit kind. Hmm, you should see my grandma how she looks like. It's kinda hard to
tell whether she's angry or not.
Well, my two gandpas past away. And two grandmas still lives. They are tough
although I still don't know their age. They're really old. Hmm, can't guess
their age. ^^'
My maternal Grandma was the most wonderful woman in the world:) She raised me
until I was almost 12 when she passed away, I am now 33. I miss her everyday of
my life but especially at Christmas. She and my Aunt Cookie, who also raised me
until 12, made Christmas the most wonderful time of the year:) Grandma was very
much the boss but she always had a hug and kiss:) And I could always sleep with
her when I had a bad dream:)
When I got married 7 years ago I got married on her Bday, September 19th, and
had white roses and carnations in my bouquet , just so I could have her at my
wedding:) I also wore the rose earrings she left me:) Merry Christmas

I dont know the rest of my grandparents. I did meet my paternal grandma but I
was little and barely remember her.
From my father's side - Both of them are still here and they are nice, funny ,
lay back and likes to get me or fix me food of stuff I like! I like them a lot!

since they lived far away and they are... How can I say this? "strange and
a little mean" o.o... and my real grandfather ran off from my grandma when
my mother was born. So
I have a step-grandfather too. All of them treated my mother badly when she was
young and now they want her to forgive them. My mother sorta of is forgiving
them but they still act strange l. o_O They are just strange grandparents but I
do talk to them every once in a while (in the phone) and get letters and
greeting cards from them but I'm more close to my father's side. :3
My granfather on father's side I never got the chance to meet because he died
while I was still a baby. My grandmother on that side died when I was in the
second grade and I didn't visit her much while she was alive wich is a shame
because I thought she was a sweet woman.

sweet and funny and always happy to see us. My grandmother is shy and a the same
time, talks alot and she never lets us do anything around the house when we

I never had the opportunity to know about my grandparents from my father's or my
mother's side. They were born and living in what is now North Korea. When the
Korean War broke out in 1950, my parents escaped to mainland Japan and from
there to Okinawa which at the time was U.S. military territory. I was born in
Okinawa and my family eventually moved U.S.
My mother showed me a black and white picture of dignified looking Korean
wearing traditional clothes once. She said he was my grandfather. That picture
is now lost and I really wish I still had it on me.

person you can talk to about anything, then will give you her honest and sincere
opinion and advice. She's also a blind woman

But they give me lots of money for birthdays or when I do well in school or just

Sadly my grandparents passed away two years ago. but i knew them quite well, even though they always nag but they r concern about you.
