Never had to wear glasses and I suppose my sight is good enough (or at least,
that's what results in the shooting range back when I was in the service
"said").
However, I do spend a great amount of my time in front of a computer screen, so
I guess I'll have to pay a visit to an optometrist in like five-six years.
Quiet, y'all, I've worn glasses since kindergarten, and I don't remember what
it's like to see the world clearly without them. No, not even with contacts,
because my contacts don't correct my astigmatism, and the world still looks
slightly blurry.
I can't even read letters four inches high on a wall three feet away. ;_;
lately it seems like my long distance vision is getting worse .
I keep having to squint at school, but other than that my eyes are fine.. for
now that is :P.
My left eye is quite bad, my right eye is basically "normal". I have
glasses that I only really need to use when I have classes in order to see stuff
at a distance. Thing is, my eyesight hasn't really changed much in the last 10
years, which was when I first started to wear glasses, though I've been told by
one of my eye doctors that it's because my right eye compensates heavily for my
left o_O
I have a condition called, I think, high index. It's where I can't see anything
clearly for more than 3 feet, so I've had glasses for a pretty long time.
hmmm from some peoples posts, I would say everyone needs to increase there
monitor refresh rate, and stop burining there eyes, but as for my eyesite, well
20/20 is supposed to be perfect, but as far as eye charts go I have even better
vision that that, it is like 20/10 it think.
I've used glasses since I was three, but my eyesight isn't that bad. I can
easily read and such without glasses, although things are a wee bit blurry but
not much, but if I didn't use glasses my sight would get worse.
My main problem isn't the sight itself but that my eyes don't work together,
there is a split-second from the one eye registers a thing to the other, which
make judging small fast things, like balls (which is why I don't like sports
) hard.
That and high light sensitivety is the largest problems with my eyes, not the
vision itself.
Quote by dMphmmm...i thought i was the only
one wearing glasses. hehe..i guess we all have one thing in common after all
haha. i just hope no one is blind.
If someone is blind in here, how could they type or look at stuff on the net?!
I guess having glasses at younger age doesn't mean you will be blinded soon
right? My parents keep saying that IF I get glasses at a young age, I might be
blind when Im older.
I'm a "megane-chan" since 14... I'm used to it.. But sometimes (I mean
once in three month or something) my head spinning so much that I can't even
stand.... Yeah... computer is bad for your eyes...
I have a degree so high that without my specs, i can kiss my LCD moniter...
My childhood days was always plague with trips to the optician - Need for higher
specs degree.. -0_0-
