well I have bougth Love Hina anime box with the movie I don't have much money so...

the most expensive thing i bought was the neon genesis evangelion box dvd set. it has 8 DVDs in it! i just couldnt resist! it was so beautiful at the store. it was on sale of course (what do you think, im gonna buy it for retail value? im not crazy, you know*_*) it cost me about $180. hmmm, maybe i did get a little crazy at the time

Masamune Shirow "Cyberworld" Collectors Prints. I don't remember exactly how much I paid for them. But, as I recall they weren't inexpensive... And, IMO they were worth every penny!

Hmm, well in books it was the Groundwork of Evangelion: The Movie 2 and that cost me 50 dollars, and in dvds it would be the Steel Angel Kurumi boxset thing(I don't buy anime dvd's that often ^^').

I dropped $50 on my Girl Ranma Polystone Figure. I think I've spent near $400 on my figure collection to date.

My Kenshin R2 set (boxes 1 and 3) retail for about $800 in Japan (I got lucky and paid only $130 I think)... however, I've been unable to find box #2 for a decent price anywhere, so I'll probably have to buy it retail the next time I'm in Tokyo (and apparently it sells for $500, so I'd better start saving up ).

My kenshin manga set from Japan was kinda expensive too, at about $150, but I understand that if you buy the US version of the manga it'd probably be about twice this amount?

Same as Miranda, the Neon Genesis Evangelion DVD Box Set. I couldn't resist the sticker that said, "Best Anime Series". I have seen the Cowboy Bebop Perfect Set with the tin box go for about $400 or so, though.

I also have to say the Neon Genesis Evangelion DVD Box Set. I think it was about $124 for me when I got it. I just couldn't get enough of it after watching like 3 episodes I downloaded in bad quality.

For me - it was the full RK manga set - in Japanese, shipped from Japan. (I'd seen the anime - but hated the ending - so I had to have the manga to see how it really ended!)

uhm... the most expensive thing i bought was the complete evangelion series..
but.. i didnt buyed it on a box.. like miranda-san.. no..
i buyed them separately.. original.. and each one costed 30 dlls... they are 10.. well.. they are 8 but i also bought the 2 movies of it.. so.. it was something like 300 dlls.. plus taxes.. (i bought them in the u.s.)
and.. thats the most expensive thing i ever bought.. yep.. im a total freak u.u

the most expensive item I bought was a galaxy angel pocket watch (had an image of Vanilla) for about $75 off of yahoo japan, but I've probably spent over $500 on my anime cel/sketch collection

most expensive would have to be the cold cast Rei Ayanami figure that I bought. Cost me over $200. but she's a beauty couldn't resist. lol

I keep fighting the urge to get a Sculpture of Cloud from ffvii on the Bike... it ususally goes for around $150.... so thats what i'm lookin at

I think mine was the ADV films season one and season two boxsets of Sailor Moon Classic and R - I bought off ebay, and everyone always says 'they're not that good because of so many reasons' but I've always kinda liked them for being my only fully japanese version of Sailor Moon. I bought both at the same time for about £70 from a UK ebay auction, and they used to be £90 or so rrp...so it was a bargain.

To be honest I'm a student, and its hard enough to buy anime when I have no money, so £70 is so much to me. I should be careful :P
