A thread intended for general discussion about AMVs and CMVs! For those of you who don't know:
AMV= Anime Music Video
CMV= Cosplay Music Video
Which do you prefer watching? Do you hate both AMVs and CMVs? Do you/would you like to make them? Have any favorites? Are there any songs that you associate with a certain anime and would love to see an AMV/CMV of?

I used to be all about watching and making AMVs back in 2006-2007, though they were bad and eventually taken down by
Youtube for copyright infringement or something. I think there was even a site where you could upload them (for archive
purposes), but they had super strict requirements and I didn't upload them there.
I've never watched any CMVs, not familiar with them at all :o
I think my favorite AMVs are "Mitternacht" (Blood+, Hellsing and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust; song by E Nomine) and "Destiny" (Kaleido Star; song by MOVE). Both show a ton of work put into them and, having edited videos in the past, that's something I admire XD

I remember when that first came out on Youtube. Definitely one of my top favorites. : ) Sadly... don't have the links to the ones I used to watch any longer. :/
