I had a DA account that I only used for downloading PS brushes. Abandoned it after people started asking for favs or PMs in exchange for the passwords on the file.
Most people who do that can use unknown names and create works with the brush either way so I never saw the point of needing to fav or PM people who don't check their inbox for 3 and a half weeks.
The stickman art in DA is quite decent though.
